Maybe the clearance price was so cheap that one or two people cleared them out. I was at Walmart once, and there were tea roses on clearance. They weren't marked so I went to get a price check. They rang up at 12c each. I bought all 23 of them and put them on my porch. They all did really good until my alpacas came up on the porch and ate them all. Evidently nothing is "sacred" to them! 😒

@@alexandrinavictoriagarden583 No, they ate them! The whole plants. Seeds, thorns roots and all. All that was left was the dirt and the containers. The Containers were actually pretty nice and I reused them. They were white containers with pink roses on them and the growing pots fit inside them.

@@alexandrinavictoriagarden583 Yes, I still have my alpacas but not the roses. I have a fenced in area behind the house that I'm turning into a garden area. No alpacas, horses, or dogs are allowed in there, only my Bengal cat Bullwinkle so he can get some fresh air and sunshine and hangout with me when I'm working in my garden. I also planted some cat grass in there so he has some fresh greens, too.
So they call this shade of pink a porcelain or shell pink. Very delicate, prissy, feminine🌹😘💗😅
