Why do we have early voting and then (supposedly) count those vote last? Shouldn’t we be able to count those votes earlier?

Some states do work that way, other states don’t allow counting until Election Day. The problem is that there is no nation-wide system in place. States have a lot of leeway in how they set up their presidential elections.
Because states decided to be dumb and decided they didn't want to start counting untill election day or after polls. I think maybe is more traditional that way since then it's like everyone voted the same day and they are still counting. Idk🤷

There needs to be a manual recount in Az. People were give sharpies to fill in their ballot and the machines didn't read them. The ballots were then put aside in a different bin and the voter was told that their vote with be counted.

Some states starting counting votes early because they had early voting.
Cause California was more prepared for this type of situation and the other states, thanks to Trump limiting fundings for mail-in votings arent..... so yeah.

If you check most states have around the same amount of ballots left to count, but because they are battleground states the small percentages still matter that's why they haven't been called yet.

Bookmakers are very objective otherwise it will cost them alot of money or go broke.
The bookmakers calculate the odds on a system they worked on for decades to give them a very accurate but small edge to make profit.
And right now they give Biden 27% of a victory, so there is still a chance but not so big for Biden to win.

We're winning because we have the popular vote if you look at the map you see in big cities are blue and more urban areas are red for example Atlanta makes up most of the population of Ga so if they go blue and the rest of Ga is mostly red then the dems have that state, simple.

Trump has been telling people "don't mail-in your ballots," "they threw out mail-in ballots," "mail-in voting is rigged" for 2 months now. So 90% of the passionate Trump voters are unlikely to use mail-in ballots. It's a very easy conclusion to make.

@David Findle Probably math (not to sound condescending). About 70% of early and mail-in ballots are from Democrats and about 80% of likely voters voted early. So you can look at your state's early ballots on Friday and make a guess at how it'll go.
For a simple example, if a state has lower early turn-out (say 5 of 100), then you can take 70% of that (~4) as likely Biden votes and say he has no chance of winning. Likewise, if early turn out is high (say 80 of 100) you can take 70% of that (~56) and guess that Biden will get over half the votes before election day. There was a high Republican turn-out and a decent number of newly registered Republican voters, so it'll be closer than they thought. But the governor could be right without anything corrupt going on.
