Shame Arkham Origins was the first game I played where I felt like I was actually fighting croc, they were like teasing when all I had to do in Asylum toss a several batrangs at him to keep him at bay , but then it was just as good, still need to beat Arkham City, and Arkham Knight.
@@vernonkiseyinewakup8859 idk if you ever did, but Croc is only in Arkham City as a one time Easter egg, he doesn't show up again till Knight DLC

This is my favourite Batman: Arkham game. It's just such a good game, with the riddles, the villains, and overall just great atmosphere!
City is much better, bigger map, more playable characters and npcs and of course dlcs (this is my opinion i am not trying to say anything against you) and btw i cant wait to finally play some joker in asylum new gen i could not play it before because i played the game on xbox 360, and i think the most coolest thing in new gen is that catwoman's suit is bit brighter so it looks better as it should too for female character.
arkham night and arkham origins have big maps
Asylum certainly has the best presentation and atmosphere out of them all. I get sucked into the game and story every time I replay it. City revolutionized the mechanics of the gameplay to such a degree, though, that Asylum's always feels so primitive.

I think that the Arkham Universe is based on both BTAS cartoons and the comics
Yeah, it's like the BTAS universe except people die more, the designs look similar to the comics and there's generally more of a grittiness and gothic architecture.
Paul Dini was brought on for the story and of course, Conroy, Hamill, and Sorkin are brought on to voice their roles.

Batman is taking his arch enemy Joker to jail. 1:20 Batman has arrived at Arkham and is on his way to Intensive Treatment with Joker. 1:45 Joker is booked into custody and starts wisecracking in the hallways as he is taken to the elevator. 3:34 into the Metal Detector they go and Cash starts the scan. 3:44 Batman gets caught by the Metal Detector and Joker guessed it right Batman brought his Belt with him filled with all his usual gadgets. 5:52 Batman and Joker arrive at the elevators and we have a confrontation with Croc. Coc threatens to eat Batman ignore him. 7:33 the lights go out in the elevator but things are fixed by the time we get to Holding Cells. Batman even chokes Joker to stop him from laughing. 9:24 batman checks in with Jim Gordon and the two Bat Family members head to the balcony as Joker is taken to his cell. they think it was an easy capture of Joker but we know nothing is easy for Batman not even nailing Joker. 9:43 unknown to the two Bat Family members Harley is hiding in the control room waiting for Joker's signal to escape and we hear her laughing over the speakers that is the signal Joker is waiting for........ 10:21 thats when all hell breaks loose Joker is free and Harley has freed the inmates it is going to be a long night of round up for the Dark Knight.

Fun Fact: When Joker says "Welcome to the Madhouse, Batman" he wasn't referring to Arkham Asylum but was rather foreshadowing the Batman Arkham Subreddit

I’d argue the Batman from 2005-2012 was at the franchise’s peak. Christopher Nolan’s films and Rocksteady’s games were so well crafted.
The memorable beginning qoutes of the main villains in the Arkham trilogy:

You're guides are the best without question. I've seen other guides for this game but Batman always managed to get hit at least once during a battle, but not you. Very impressed. By the way how is it that Batman or anyone did not see the flask of whiskey sticking out of the back pocket of Bowles when they were processing the Joker into the asylum? So much for Batman's powers of observation. Maybe he was going to say something to Sharp or Gordon about it later? I'd like to think so.

The remastered environment is better but the batman has different facial expression which is why "the original is better"

This is the BEST version of Batman. Hands down. Experienced, technical and prepared. With the Kevin Conroy voice, and Animated series updated aesthetic. The best.
Oh the nostalgia. This game changed my view of gaming and what I enjoy. I remember "stealing" (I didn't really steal it. I just played it without asking as I was 10) it off my dad and taking ages to finish it. The immersion was awesome.

I started gaming when I was 5 years old, the first game I played was Need For Speed Underground 2 and Need For Speed Hot Persuit. So, I think I started playing Batman Arkham Asylum when I was 6 or 7 years old. Age 9 I played Batman Arkham City. Age 11 I played Batman Arkham Origins and I've never played Batman Arkham Knight when It came out. Now I am 16 years old and I only played Batman Arkham Knight now in 2020. I was so excited.
I played all three games last year, but I haven't played Knight yet. Will definitely play it in the future.

Mark Hamill did a great job voicing the Joker. It will be hard to find a replacement for that voice. A movie should be made out of this.

This is the moment when Batman Arkham Asylum sets the new standard for future superhero games, such as Marvel's Spider-Man.
IMO, still the best of the series. Although the controls and graphics were vastly improved on the sequels, Asylum is the perfect combination of great story + great graphics + excellent gameplay. A true classic.
I remember watching my older cousin play this when I was a kid. I'll never forget how genuinely scared I was when Killer Croc made his appearance.

The best thing imo about Arkham Asylum is the atmosphere. The lighting, the feel, the looks. I think the remastered version kinda ruined the experience, but that's just me. The original version here is far better.

King_KHAN A "remaster" of Asylum and City. All they did was change the colors and remake the textures, which don't look as good as the do on the preview pictures of the game. Then again, they have 32 days to fix the way the game looks, so there's still hope that it'll look better by the time it releases.

I like your videos about arkham games but in this game you forgot to put on the subtitle.I mean it's not a problem I understand the dialogs but sometimes sounds very slowly especially when it's an monologue for example when joker speak and you're going on a fight it's very difficult to hear what he says not to mention that you're not even let all the dialogues or monologues to end.And another problem about subtitles is when you hear tapes and you continue to go to the objective,when you do that I can't even know if the tape has ended or it has been interrupted because you enter in combat or you reach the objective.But I'm glad that you've added subtitles to the other games from the arkham series and on those games you hear all the monologues and dialogues.
