  • In this video I am riding the 2023 Ski Doo Summit SP 850 165, I was blown away by its performance. It holds a sidehill much better than the previous models and it is nearly effortless to carve and traverse low angle slopes. To me it's the perfect sled for any skill level.
My dad has a 2020 Summit Expert 165 and he didn't even want it back after riding the gen 5. Very nimble and predictable. Thanks to Bret Rasmussen for letting me test it out!

Have any comments on this vs an equivalent RMK?

I have a 21 SP. You mentioned "it holds a sidehill much better than the previous models". Is it the narrower body keeping you from paneling out or do you think the revised tMotion X is a factor?

It is the narrow body and running boards. This model still has t motion. The summit x expert is the only one that does not have t motion any more. But it holds the sidehill so much better. The wide panels used to cause the track to come out of the snow leading to washout

@@privilegedpioneer If I'm reading things correctly they did change the skid geometry and now call it tMotion X. Unlike the expert with tMotion XT it still pivots and has the flex edge track. Haven't really seen much discussion on tMotion X.

Gauge looks worthless, unless, you don't ride it in the snow.

Don’t have time to look at the gauge when your riding technical terrain!
