- The Hot Rod Showdown is a relatively new show that happens at the 7A Ranch in Wimberley, TX. This was the 4th year of this event, it features 1948 and older traditional styled hot rods and customs. The show is limited by space to about 150 cars but this year rain in the forecast (and on the day) kept some of the cars away.
I missed the reliability run on Friday due to nasty icy weather across Oklahoma and North Texas, but I was able to make the 10 hour drive down during the day on Friday.
Enjoy a look at the show and know that if this is what you dig, you better be there next year!

Sorry you missed it!
Way to go Clifton! Driving that Chevy. Like a fox wandering into a pack of hunting dogs! 😝
Ughhh that maroon chopped '34 sedan!!! You're my hero, Travis! I'm gonna have sweet dreams tonight! The '41 Ford pickup (Les Gray's Service) is my second favorite.
You need to come down next time!

Looking through a time machine
2:38, 8:58 🤩😍 ...anyone can id the 2:38 ??
That traditionally build green coupe is beauty to look at!
love it 🥰
I like hotrods, but there is no place in my garage, so I built one for my living room in scale 2:3 with a Jukebox functionality 😅
I don't have a garage either so I just cover them up with a tarp everyday..
Great event but Wrong time of the year. Should've been done in June.
It's the PERFECT time of year. It's been 75 and sunny the first two events. June would SUCK that far South, it was already in the 100's
