My 2 cents...before this year he plays best (offensively and defensively) in RF but the manager decided to make him a CFer this year.

One of the biggest issues is that they (they being all the opposing teams) are pitching him inside a lot more. Yes, his swing has changed a bit, but defensively they have adjusted as well, which is making a large impact. He’s making strides and is picked up a bit lately, so he’s getting there… just keep putting in the work
