When I was a senior in high school, I was hospitalized for my severe depression and my dad told me a few years later that when I was in the hospital, he would listen to this song during his workout and think of the best plan for me once I was out. I'm 22 years old now living my best life in a beautiful city. Every time I get homesick or struggle, I listen to this song and remind myself that my best people are here with me even if they're 1000 miles away. Thanks for bringing my dad and I closer, Bruce.

I am ashamed to admit that I am just now, at the age of 75, discovering Bruce Springsteen. I can only blame it on the fact that Elvis stole my heart when I was fourteen! I can't get further than 30 seconds into the song without tearing up, no matter how many times I watch it, no matter how happy I am when I start watching it. I think it is the utter concentration and adorability in the eyes of the fans that does it, plus of course the song - so simple yet so powerful. Reading through lots of the previous comments with not so many in English, it just shows how much of a true international star Bruce and the Band are. Nothing can or will compare now or ever. my first concert was this april. i have been listening to bruce all my life. never did i ever think that i would be able to see him in person. i wept. i smiled. i was wrapped up in the words, the stories, the music, the real. when i watched this today, i had to laugh. every emotion on every face spelled out all the feelings that i had that night. it was truly very special.

End-of-July 2020... and I look at this video, recalling the Springsteen concerts I also attended, the energy of Bruce and the crowd, and here we are, dealing with Covid19... and I get to thinking, "Those were the good days - of sharing a mutually enjoyable experience with a crowd of strangers and not worrying about anything more than having our toes stepped on; will we ever get to hang out this close to each other again, and if so, how far into the future?"

I can't watch this video without shedding a tear. I have seen countless Bruce shows since 1974, but THE highlight to me was seeming him do this at a Devils & Dust concert at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. He had the entire audience on its feet, waving, cheering, and crying while ending the show . He roamed the stage with the house lights and pointed to every section of the hall while imploring everyone to "lift up their hearts and Dream Baby Dream". Upon leaving the stage, the audience continued cheering and clapping forwell over 5 minutes. Absolutely unforgettable!
I only came across this about 2 weeks ago and I am playing it time after time after time after time. I find myself welling up; it touches something within me that words can not really express; suffice to say that....no, words only confuse things!

When your music can touch so many different people on so many different levels you truly are a gift from the Gods.
Sends shivers down my spine everytime I watch. So lucky to have Bruce in San Sebastian last year and really hope he and the band keep on bringing something unique to this world for as many years as they can.
