"That doesn't look like a dragon. That looks like an obese sleeping parakeet" Lexi 2023
It's a comparison I never thought of, and yet it's 100% correct. Those DO look like obese parakeets wrapped in little blankets.

I looked at this comment right during that moment lol.
5:45 ”some dude” is literally Drake 😭😭
4:45 That sign is very common in Germany to indicate assembly points/areas in case of an emergency, For example, if a school's fire drill went off, everyone has to go to the assembly point and the teachers can easily count if everyone's there. It also prevents chaotic scrambling all over the place.
Same here in Canada around job sites, typically accompanied by another text sign "Muster Point"
I saw those on my Costa Rica trip for the same reason! I think they were more for natural disasters since we were mostly near several volcanoes, but I never actually asked. One of them just happened to say something like ‘emergency meetup point’ and I just filled everything in from there
20:17 No, Lexi, the original tiles are right there, they just need to be switched. They’re right next to each other.
I was looking to see if someone else pointed this out. I know Lexi is nearly blind but I'd have thought that she could at least see that much.
@@JosephJamesScott
Funny how that works, really.
Like a practice in overthinking/overanalyzing that you completely miss out on the obvious.
0:57 I can just imagine the person who restocks the vending machine hiding behind it and hearing confused customers saying the beef jerky is covering the Corn Nuts.
Lexi I appreciate you for explaining some stuff to us audience that we don't know about. It was fun listening to that.
For 9:30 yes it doesnt make sense at all but it looks like the website is Crunchyroll. Anime has episodes in between seasons that arent a part of either. Also the English dubs would have a separate listing. So Crunchyroll would makeup random high numbers so it would be clear that it was not season 1 or season 2 but still place it in between season 1 and season 2. I was extremely confusing and they finally just added a setting in the player to select audio instead of having random seasons.
So this is probably the setup:
Season 1 is Japanese audio
Season 32 is English dub for season 1
Season 2 is Japanese audio season 2
Season 32 is English dub for season 2
Season 9 is probably an OVA or similar micro season of short/unrelated episodes
Definetely Crunchyroll.
And that is assuming that Season 1 actually is the first season and not just a pilot.
The easy Fix would have been to add Language tabs and then go by the actual name.
But Crunchyroll has been spiraling to unusabillity since i started using it.
Want to know when a show is airing? Search for the season anouncement because we sure as hell will not tell you on the show's page!
Didn't watch an episode until the very last second? We are not going to show you that there is a new episode until you did or pulled up the show's page!
Wanted to watch a show? Your Watchlist is bugged again, and shows up empty. Try in a couple of hours or try to find it on the homepage because
Want to search for a specific show? The search function will show you everything about it, especially the merch we sell, but definetely not the show itself.

no clue what Lexi fixing mistakes for store workers has to do with anti trust laws
@Airam Over here in the US, the people got worried in the past that companies were getting too big and forming monopolies and stuff. To address this, the government added antitrust laws to prevent too many mergers, as well as companies working together too closely. The idea is that this would keep companies competing and keep prices low by preventing price fixing
edit: clarity
@@Luigi2262_ so that explains why a supermarket here isn't admitting to merge, and when the market they bought is underselling they just delete it and turn it to their own. It's a matter of time until there's no more competence here

Lexi, you are for real one of my favorite narrators. Such an icon, your voice is cute and calming, and you go over the best subreddits. You are awesome.
6:20 Some may call me an idiot, but I researched this specific problem when it first happened. News articles have been blowing it out of proportions. The hackers got copies of everyone's VAULT. So imagine a bank robber robbing a bank, killing/restraining the employees, then walking over to the biggest set of vaults they can find.
There's one issue.
In both situations, *the person can't open the vaults.*
In the latter situation, the bank robber doesn't have the keys/keycodes, and all the employees are unavailable, so he can't rob shit.
In the former situation, the person(s) has everyone's vaults, but they don't have passwords. So unless you have a REALLY insecure password that they could just guess, you're fine. The encryption that's toughest to get through is not the vaults themselves, but the passwords to them.
Unlike the watermelon/corn mix at 16:11, the broccoli/cauliflower mix at 21:44 mix somewhat reasonable as they are both cultivated cabbage aka Brassica oleracea. There are at least 21 cultivated variations of that plant. At least 9 are common food stuffs.
4:58 that sign is a misprint of a sign used to mark where to gather incase of an emergency (like a fire) in many European countries
Just when I thought I couldn't love Lexi more, she apparently doesn't know who Drake is. And I fall even more in love.
yesss more lexi narrations, the fact that she actually explains things is really nice, along with the bonus of being trans like me so i can go "oo fellow transfem"
As another fellow transfem, I'm honestly mostly just here for the Lexi videos 😂
8:19 I have NEVER heard a more ominous threat in my entire life
8:32 yes we have an this is a common thing that happens when we run out of something, we just fill it with something else. sometimes we might forget to change the sign though.
14:33 people at my school do this all the time. Usually it’s just loose enough so random people will turn it around. I don’t understand.
12:55 Okay, THIS one actually makes sense to me. "Disney 100" is the title of Disney's celebration for it's 100th birthday, and then there's an exhibit for each decade within that 100 year span. Not nearly as egregious as many of the others.
12:27 - To be honest, I prefer lever-style valves on sinks. It's easier to shut them and with minimal contact. Can just slap it shut with the backside of your hand.
Truly appreciate Lexi for saying that Noah's arc didn't judge but his later fandom does. ♥

As someone who also uses a similar KeePass setup on a NAS, a big upvote to you Lexi!
I have mine syncing over VPN+SFTP so I don't actually lose out on interconnectivity to my phone/laptop. Without the VPN credentials however it's effectively air gapped with no open ports or public IP, and that's before you get to the SSH key, KeyPass encryption layer, and finally the TOTP 2FA. It makes things interesting explaining to people that I don't know any of my generated passwords (not even the server itself) and without my own devices there is no means to reach the them. Even stealing a device would just get it remotely wiped and blacklisted from the VPN.
EDIT: For the technically inclined wanting to set something like this up, the VPN is WireGuard based which uses NAT hole punching rather than having to open any IPs or ports.
The sort issue at 9:45 looks like crunchy roll. They have very confusing labelling for seasons and on non PC platforms (like Roku) it can be unusable for popular anime subbed and dubbed into multiple languages with multiple seasons and OVAs.
13:17
As a dude who was in the Geography Bee in middle school, as well as a big geography fan, this hurts me. And for it to be seen at an airport makes it worse!

I legitimately thought that was like a really weird propaganda poster saying that America is communistic. That lesson was so bad that it made me think you were spreading a conspiracy theory with layers and layers of weirdness. I was just sitting there questioning my sanity as I asked myself things like "Where does Waldo come into this? Why is there a panda there? What's with the weird pop quiz? I honestly couldn't tell you where Waldo is anymore. I think Narnia is the best answer to that question. I need a Snickers or some Twizzlers to eat while I ponder this."

20:43 Idk if you guys noticed but beside the obviously wrong compass the dinossaur at the right is named "Pterossaur" instead of "Pterodactyl"
Pterodactyl isn’t a real dinosaur. Pterosaur is generic term. Pteranodon would be more precise.

Thats a sign for the spot where everyone has to gather in an emergency
0:52 I didn't see the problem at first and then I realized the support beam was significantly further back than I initially thought.
10:11 the reason why there are probably Lemons where limes are supposed to be is because there’s a chance that the limes didn’t come on the truck and they needed to fill that spot with an empty space. 9:35 looks like Crunchyroll. And the reason is that 32 and 33 are most likely dubs. And yes that also pisses me off. Because why can't they have only the seasons as seasoned and you can change the audio at the video. But if I think about it. Most likely it is because some stuff is premium and others are not.

I wonder if that season order was ordered by like, when their licenses were last updated or something. So they did absolutely no organising whatsoever, and just left it as a default order.
7:45 NO I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!!! ive gotten it 3 times and its always the same. 6:35 I personally also use Keepass (or to be precise, KeepassXC on Windows and Keepass DX on Android) and sync the database via Syncthing, a sync client that runs decentralized in kind of a peer-to-peer mode. 12:00 - Polish range food - Ye, from the entire shelf I recognize only one product, which is indeed polish. That's Kucharek (a blue bag in the upper left corner with chef on it) - That's a mix of spices made from dried vegetables and salt to flavor your food.

“I will fill your lungs with marshmallows” is such an ominous threat
Certainly a "sweet" way of killing someone.
Trufacts: people have asphyxiated from a marshmallow challenge where, you may guess, people saw how many they could fit in their mouth at once. The problem was that saliva alone is not good at breaking down the mallows so... predictable tragedy ensued in some cases.
@@viscountrainbows2857 Truly a horrible, painfully slow way to die.
You do realise the inside of your lungs aren't hollow, it's physically impossible to do that, they're like a sponge on the inside.
@@dextreme7186 See, that's the thing. Imagine your spongy, porous lung tissue getting pushed outwards by the solid, non-porous marshmallow that turns sticky with syrup when it meets the lung tissue.
