Ive been holding off one doing a campaign idea or two because of two reasons: one, im running a campaign, and two, i didnt have the right music for the big bad in either of the ideas.
Guess i gotta wrap up this current campaign and then start one of the new ones, cause this dropped my issues to the current campaign. Only question now is which idea?
1. Secessionists in the Southwestern mountains following a Lord of Battle (General in my fantasy society) who feels he could lead a better society for his troops and followers, secretly working for an aboleth one of my players freed from a book earlier on.
Or
2. Nomadic peoples that have historically been mercenaries in the Northern plains have begun amassing arms and wiped out a few local orc tribes. The three kingdoms want these mercenaries on their side, but the mercs have other plans, as the elder leader has been locked in a stalemate of politics and propriety against a younger warlord who wants a seat on the throne of the main kingdom.
What are the potential storyhooks for your players? Are there background links with one or the other?
@@louieberg2942 i was gonna run it as different characters from their usual so they could play someone different, per both their request and mutual idea. But i got another idea that i threw in the pot and they liked that one most so neither of these have come to pass yet. Might see if another group wants to or if i can just make an outcome from them avoiding it. Its an active world, after all
