    Cool, I definitely need to try this out! What would really be great if I could use this tool slightly differently--have the pin move to where I need to stand. That's relatively easy for something on a flat horizon. But what I REALLY struggle with is finding the exact spot I need to stand when trying to catch a moonrise on an elevated spot where I don't know the exact elevation (tall building for example). If I could place it on AR (like on this video) and the location pin could jump to a date, time and exact location to shoot it, that would be exactly what I am looking for. Especially with longer lens compression shots I've missed the shots because I was off a degree or two and I couldn't get to the spot in time.

    This is just to cool! Incredible time saver for me. Now during those hikes to a location, the a certain spot looks like it could be a killer moon foreground, you know in a matter of seconds if it’s even possible. And, continue on your trek with a new point o& interest. Wicked cool!

    Absolutely brilliant, didn't know the app could work that way. I've been guessing the height when planning sun or moon pics, this now does it all for me, such a time saver, thanks!

    This is a much easier way to set up shots; Can we also do this for Moon rise photography, say for it to appear at the top of a lighthouse near me, please?

    Is there a way to have it only show me dates where a full moon is where I want it?

    • @PhotoPills
      @PhotoPills  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hi Steve! You can use the Find>Moon (at azimth and elevation) tool. And then you can sort the table of results by moonphase. Tap on "Phase" at the top of the table twice to have the full moons first.
