- After taking a much needed break from VHS reviews, they're finally back, with Sir John Betjamin's Branch Line Railway documentary. Thank you so much to @martinhodgson8290 for suggesting this VHS. This video's for you Martin. I hope to film all of RRT S3 E6 today, and don't forget, the trailer's being released tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy my 48th VHS review in the meantime.

See ya on Tonight’s Livestream
It Was Released In 1987 TrainLover16 Because The Numeral Says MCMXXXVII
Ah right.
Perhaps Caddicarus Might Like That Documentary VHS
That Logo Reminds Me Of The Screen Legends Logo This Does
I see what you mean.
Or Maybe Branchline Railway With Sir TrainLover16 Introduced By Martin Hodgson
Sir Trainlover16? I really like that title.
@@trainlover16 Yeah I Just Thought You Might Like That Nickname
@@martinhodgson8290 Of course I do.
Funfact: My friend from college gave me a few old dvds of his covering heritage steam railways
Nice.
@@trainlover16 Yep
One of them covered my local railway, the Great Central
@@jacobjcb8883 Cool. I’ve been on the GCR before, a fantastic line. I’m absolutely going again when the reunification is complete.
@@trainlover16 Yeah
Me, Mum and Grandma like to relax in the cafe at the Rothley station when it's summer
@@jacobjcb8883 Fantastic.
14:54 I have a feeling that Dr Beeching was the reason in the Postman Pat universe.for why the Greendale branch line shutdown and why the Greendale rocket was locked up in that shed for years
Exactly.
@@trainlover16 he just didn't see the point of that being a branch line going to a small village that doesn't supply anything despite the fact that the people of Greendale obviously needed the railway to transport their mail and supplies
@@williampulfer-melville8536 Exactly, Dr Beeching didn’t fully understand the point of those branch lines. The people of the 1960s arrogantly thought that roads were the future, and now our roads are far too congested. Not enough people thought about that back then.
🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂 ❤️❤️❤️❤️ You’re A Legend TrainLover16
What would you think if there was a Thomas character based on an 8F steam locomotive
Donno.
@@trainlover16 because I was thinking of having one in my series because of their interesting working life with how a lot of them were shipped over to Turkey after they were built in England and how three of them were actually brought back to England and now work on a Heritage railway in Gloucestershire
@@williampulfer-melville8536 Cool, go for it.
@@trainlover16 thanks
What VHS is next?
Teletubbies Uh Oh Messes and Muddles.
@@trainlover16 When will that be?
@@davidteape3889 In just under 3 weeks.
Why does it say its private
Donno.
14:54 Dr Beeching was a cheapskate that's for sure
I think this review is not bad though I'm not much of a fan of black and white movies.
