I wholeheartedly agree with Sister Bernice, in that, the problems that exists in our nation and world are the problems of all of us, not just one specific community. We need to adjust our societal lenses and look at the " big picture" instead of a tiny segment of it. Loving humanity involves putting down individual agendas and working towards improving life for all mankind everywhere.
Lastly, we should keep in mind that without a struggle, there is no progress!!!!!!!

@Shrexy Beast That is not always true, which is why it is anecdotal, not a proven statistical fact. That has never been true. Poverty exists because of exploitation and wage theft in most cases. It is a system of violence and a tool of the oligarch oppressors. They do this so, they can go to Haves and tell them "look at the Have-nots, if you don't want to be a have-not, you better be good little productive boot licker." And their lap dogs in government, parrot their talking points, and pass only the laws the oligarchs write for them. While we have over 20 empty houses for every single houseless person in this country. While housing prices being driven up by 30%-50% because equity firms are turning our housing into portfolios. Price gouging is at historically insane levels and they still have the audacity to call it inflation. While the Fed tries to stop the "inflation" by stopping small business owners and start-ups from being able to obtain loans, so they can limit the job market, and drive down wages. When the price gouging has already caused a 3% real wage cut. And housing costs are driving citizens to the streets. While state governments criminalize homelessness. Poverty is a machination of the oligarch planation owners. Anyone who can't see that is a slave to the oligarchy.

We are all struggling, asking God, now where do I go?
We all need to fit in somewhere to keep our sanity.
    So please, it's everywhere.

In the 1940s and 50s a single man could work buy a house buy a car send his children to college retire with a pension and his wife never had to work. Now we have automation and things are produced on a much greater scale with a far fewer need for people actually making products. The end result is that this money is not distributed among the workers in fact their salaries are cut and the wealth is funneled to the top.

In this country you can get rich without being politically well connected. The same system that encourages people to get rich has lifted more people out of poverty than any other. We have these so called impoverished people with smart phones, giant TVs, and suffering from too much food.
Take to pieces of pipe one 8 inches long the other 16 inches long. The rich piece of pipe has 8 more than the poor pipe. But inflation happens and now the poor pipe is 203mm long and and the rich is 406mm long and the rich has 203mm than the poor. Nothing has changed but the poor pipe claims that the rich get richer.
This is not a perfect analogy the rich usually store the money in inflation resistance/wealth increasing assets while the poor as cash or bank savings accounts that pay less interest than the rate of inflation. But Biden destroyed predictability in the oil market and through thousand out of work by canceling oil pipelines in the USofA and by stopping new federal oil leases and changing the regulation on drilling and production making it more expensive to drill new wells and decreasing the profit of doing so has caused gasoline prices to double so far but he has kept his promise to destroy the American fossil industry which is the cleanest in the world while trying to increase it abroad and then ship the oil in smoke belching ships.
