I use to keep.a very large female cane toad.. she loved eating those large garden roman snails you know big ones that come out everywhere after rain. Well she'd eat about dozen at one time easy I could feel shells in her stomach after but literally day or 2 later they be dissolved.. presume it be sane here
You could tell when that frog blinked his eyes for more than 2 seconds , that was a hard swallow. 🙂

I just wanted to see if the frog would eat the snail's shell. So, the frog must have a stomach like a crocodile, which can eat long animal horns whole. That's wicked interesting to see.
They probably do have some sort of crocodile like stomach

Yep, that shell is calcium carbonate. Just like limestone, marble, chalk, or eggshells. Humans eat chalk as an antacid somewhat frequently (you've probably done this; Tums are just flavored chalk, basically). It raises your stomach's pH, but it can only do so by dissolving. So that frog's stomach acids ate through that shell.

I don't know if this was a nice meal for him or now. The snail's shell is hard and will take a lot of time to digest if it'll even digest. Perhaps he can regurgitate it out later once the soft snail has been digested. Otherwise the snail shell can create problems for him in the long run.

Normally pacman frog eats mice , insects, etc which is small.
But think about this ,it ate a snail.
Will it able to digest the shell?
In answer to the question, most of my frogs and toads are happy to eat small snails- the shells seem to be passed (usually broken up) in the droppings without any problems. if you 'dissect' wild or newly caught frog's droppings they usually contain shells and hard insect parts.

He won't digest the shell of the snail, it'll end up in his droppings. Usually in these cases it comes out broken up.
