  • Hi Everyone my name is Hannah and I have quite a few autoimmune immune disorders that started out of the blue a year and a half ago. I am trying very hard to get off beta blockers because i want to have kids and i believe the beta blocker side effects are outwaying the benefits at this time. I am switching to magnesium which is helpful. I recorded this video to show you the struggle us POTSIES go through on a bad day or moment. This is why it is called an invisible illness. It may appear like many other disorders but what it is is a disruption in the autonomic neveous system.

I did slowly wean off with my doctors guidance. I am doing pretty good. I have ups and downs. But I did find a new med that helped even better called Ivabradine

I’m doing pretty good. I have flairs still . I found a medication that did not affect my blood pressure. It’s called Ivabradine. I also went to see dr. Blair grubb Dysautonomia specialist and he helped along with my local cardiologist who is incredible

@chronically_healing9403 How long did it take to fully wean off the first medication? My blood pressure is 123 over 85 and that is with propranolol which I also use for anxiety. I want to eventually get off of. But am scared of how bad the withdrawal will be and how long it might be.

I see you haven't made any other videos, guess it didn't work out!

It did work out! I just haven’t checked this CZcams page in a while. I made tremendous improvements. The big issue with beta blockers was that it was making my hair fall out and the blood pressure fluctuations.

Well done, I am pleased that you are okay, I only managed to reduce meds. Any heart rate above zero is good. ;)

Slow deep breaths in though the nose out through the mouth this always slows my heart rate .
