No one ever mentions Victorian koalas so thank you for speaking up Deborah. They should be listed as Vulnerable as anecdotally, reports are coming in that people who used to see koalas 20 years ago, are no longer seeing them 😢 they are in trouble too in Victoria. A large factor is that we hold the majority of plantations in Australia and koalas are killed during harvesting.
We’re watching from from Europe and VERY CONCERNED about the terrible situation for koalas and Australian wildlife. Were horrified at the terrible destruction and deforestation, the loss of habitat. Please Australian Koala Conservation speak out about South WestSydneys koalas!, they are wiped out by Lend Lease and Walkers developments!
On Kangaroo Island a few weeks ago my koalas were killed or injured when the trees they were living in were cut down. Please help to save koalas
