- In this video , I spent some time off-roading the Maruti Suzuki S-cross , to understand if this 2 Wheel drive (4x2) Compact SUV can take you off-roading or not . uses same engine as Vitara Brezza, Ciaz, Eritiga , XL-6 which is 1.5 L k15B NA petrol engine which produces 105 BHP & 138 nm of torque !

I have taken scross to leh trip in 2018 it performed great their.
I am simply speechless after seeing how s cross tackles this treacherous rocky terrain despite having such a large wheelbase and only 180 mm ground clearance....😱😱😲😲🤐 Kudos to Maruti for building such a capable crossover.
P.S. i hope very soon freestyle will also be tested in this terrain...😋😋

Main reason I think is because it has good tyres providing good traction. Moreover the kerb weight is slightly lower which helps

Surprised to see this actually. Inspite of the low ground clearance and long wheel base it has managed quite well.
I wonder if we can increase the GC by using higher profile tyres say 215/65R16 ?
Yeah surprisingly performed well,
Upgrading to 65 profile is a little doubtful because 60 profile itself is already so close to the arches if added 65 it might touch inside the fenders with full load but not sure !!

Yeah we do have Vitara Brezza , sub 4 meter compact SUV , but it’s small and pretty capable too !! But no Allgrip :(

I think 2 Wheel Drive system which is supporting quite well in Scross ... It's and way better than Forwars Wheel Drive system..coming in today's so called mini SUV's ..!

Most of the mass market cars are 2wd and that too fwd. So, S cross is no different then other CSUV's.
@@vishant99 Even though they are FWD there will be different suspension , different tyre size, different mechanisms and different ground clearance not all CSUV are same and there is difference
@@harshysautomotive3163 true that, indeed all are different but they all are inherently designed with the same purpose, I really appreciate the effort you have put in this video but I think all CSUV will be capable of doing this track.

I'm planning to S-Cross Zeta AT. Is it worth now considering the facelift is around the corner if in case the 4 speed AT gets replaced by something new. Will I be able to get spares for the 4 AT in the long run... Can u share ur opinion pls!
While it is a capable car, the 4speed AT doesn't do it justice. The Manual is just fine but if AT is your first priority, I'd suggest you better wait.

I would suggest you to go for S-Cross sir , because it has most of the modern car features and a powerful 1.6 L engine !

Yes sir because of petrol engine , you don’t feel much power now due to less amount of torque , Yes it does have a little bit of lag but if you work on gears and floor it it’s manageable!

Safety and build quality of S-Cross is far more better than other Maruti cars brother !

@@tjk4929 Let me explain you the key difference between both of them !
S-Cross is a complete compact Crossover It’s over 4 Meters in length , whereas W-RV comes under Compact SUV segment and it’s under 4M in length so S-Cross has more space !
Moving on to engine specs , S-Cross has 1.2 L kseries engine which is known for its reliability and efficiency (103 bhp & 138nm)
WR-V comes with 1.2 L petrol which also produces (88 bhp & 110 nm) it’s definitely underpowered , But if you’re looking in to diesel option WR-V is a great choice !
S-Cross is not like other Suzuki cars ! Definitely have good build quality and a good resale value and also it’s easy and not as expensive to maintain!
On the other side WR-V is a great car as well ! Definitely has more features than S-Cross but when it comes to maintaining and RE sale value it’s poor in this !
If you compare it with price S-Cross is way more cheaper than W-RV , for the money you pay you’re getting a car which is over 4 Meters in length !
Before buying I would suggest you to go visit both showroom and take a test drive of both cars ! You’ll definitely find out all the difference yourself sir!

Hi , I've recently purchased s cross zeta manual . It is a very stable car but sometimes when I go through rumble strips the car slides a little bit towards right side .In every other situation the car gives very well planted feel. Do anyone know the reason behind this ?

Hi...can use a/t type for tyre? Ive read your reply on peoples comment and I would like to change rim to 17inch and all terrain tyre will it safe for suspension and others? Please advise....
Yeah you can definitely use , I don’t recommend you 17 inch because the side profile will be too low and there are chances in A/T that suspension and steering column may damage ,
If you really want A/T tyres just go with the stock size !

Definitely a good choice over Creta, You get lot of features compared to Creta and moreover S/Cross is safer and easy to maintain!

I would suggest you to go for 225/60 R17 or 225/55 R17 , definitely it adds more stability, stance and handling !
If you find Michelin’s then go for it or else I would suggest you Yokohama, Pirelli, or continental !
