When Jimmy Anderson got that Hat Trick vs Pakistan I was still in High School I am now a middle aged family man with a receding hairline almost 20 years later and he is still performing at the highest level. This is crazy

Late 30s is not middle age!
@@Adam-uu9tw if the life expectancy is around 75-78 yrs old then indeed late 30's is middle age

2:08 "A star has been born" - Mark Nicholas. What a prophecy!
I can't believe he is a test bowler now.

Steyn is better though

The way Board gave confidence to Ali that was priceless. That's how you know you got great players on your team.

Moeen Ali's one was great as it capped off the Test Match :D
Whqta bout toby roland Jones's hatrick that culminated the county championship a 5 wicket hall in the innings and a 10 wicket haul in the match.

2021 : 39 year old Jimmy becomes greatest fast bowler in test history
Yeah and he might become the highest wickettaker in international cricket as a fast bowler
@@ARSportsHub25 yep, he just has, he still looks good for another year or two as well.
@@paulm2467 very proud of him
Greatest fast bowler in test cricket is Dale Steyn
@@-hindihinduhindusthan7111 according to wickets Anderson is greatest now and all time greatest is Ambrose
I am glad that Anderson changed his bowling action because I just love his bowling action ❤️😀
Then thanks to Zaheer then
@@stayraw2009 thanks to England coaches in mid 2000s who forced him to change otherwise he would have ended up getting serious injuries. Zaheer just spoke to Anderson once about how to hide the ball in reverse swing that has nothing to do with this lol stop crediting Indians for everything. And that doesn't mean Zaheer is on Jimmy's level lol in that way Jimmy learnt most things from his childhood coaches, does that mean the childhood coaches are also on Jimmy's level😂🤣
How was Ali's third wicket not given immediately? Absolutely plumb.
To make it more interesting I presume
the umpire was a wanker.
Umpire was Indian I guess
@@willsocietyacceptmecauseio1276 nope it might be aleem dar ..worst umpire of all time
I thought
it came of the bat as well, the umpire may have thought this as well
Anderson's bowling action is different now from 2003
That's exactly what I was thinking of
James McCaghrey true indeed. Could have well been among the top 3 test wicket takers by now!
If his action had not been changed, he would have not lasted for all this time.
No
@@jamesmccaghrey738 He had to change his action as it put far too much stress on his body, as evident by the string of injuries he suffered back then
Imagine how tired imran Tahir would be if he took a hat trick
How would be still running
😂😂😂
He did in psl 2018 lol
he took one in psl
😂😂
A star has been born there is no question about that. Amazing comment in 2003 and jimmy Anderson has proven it over the years
What an inspiration!
Reminds me of 'remember the name, Wayne Rooney'.
I think that Moeen Ali hatrick is in my top 5 moments as an England cricket fan. We have our struggles with multiculturalism and racism but there's nothing but warmth and total joy in that Hatrick. To see Moeen at the centre of that huddle shows what we can do when we focus on what we can do if we work together and focus not on what makes us different but what makes us the same. Thumbs up Mo!
Are u an Englishman ?😊
@@doctorwithdreams4037 yes

I can just imagine how heart wrenching it would have been for Rahul Dravid on that day watching from the other end... That was the template for the entire series as well... Dravid's best form in a series coincided with one of the most ignominious 4-0 defeat to England
Harbhajan was wrongly declared out, so England were at fault.
@@themarathaman9624 maybe if the BCCI weren’t such luddites and had allowed them to use ball tracking then Harbie could have reviewed the decision. Nobody to blame but the BCCI.
@@jenconvertibles Doesn't matter anymore, after today's defeat. England, 170 for no loss? That is really very embarrassing. Shami, Bhuvaneshwar, and Ashwin, between the three, failed to take a single wicket.
@@themarathaman9624 England did play very well and you definitely missed a few bowlers but yeah dissapointing for India
@@themarathaman9624At fault for playing a game? What a weird statement.
Jimmy was the first english cricketer to get odi hat-trick, he was just 21 at the time, youngest cricketer.
Nothing more beautiful in all sports than a cricket hat trick. ♥️🏏
6 sixes....much more beautiful and rare
Hey your name seems a bit Nordic may i know where are you from and how did u started liking cricket?
@@sanchitingle7435 Although I am a Swede, I like to consider myself a citizen of the world, and as such I like to learn and watch other sport from around the world. For example, I've been a fan of rugby for many years, especially the All Blacks. I've just discovered Australian football, although it seems kind of silly and unstructured. Also, I prefer watching the English Premier league and Spanish LaLiga than Allsvenskan. And I've been watching the English cricket team as well as county 1st class cricket for many years.
Jimmy's highlights are natural these days... his bowling always has been... and still is all these years later.
When you're so focused upon winning the match for your team that you don't even realize you've taken a hat trick.

Anderson and Broad, What a pair of Legendary Bowlers
Dravid the Wall, Only batsmen who stood there and made Runs in 2011, Bhajji missing DRS
Yessss!!!! That bowler who conceded 6 Sixes in an over. Jimmy is a champion but Broad is still a beginner in front of Anderson. See the records of both.
@@crictv8319 Yes Bro please check Broad's Record, then we can talk
@@anuragkat66 I know that Broad is a good bowler but Jimmy is a far better bowler than Broad. Look at the average of both. Look at the strike rate. Look at the number of 5-Wicket Hauls and compare both in terms of wickets taken. Jimmy is the highest wicket taker in Tests in the World among the pacers and the 3rd highest wicket taker in the world in Tests after Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne. You will agree or not that completely depends on you.
@@crictv8319 I totally agree but like all good and great bowlers, these two as pair have been remarkable.
@@anuragkat66 Yes, these two pairs have been remarkable... You are right. But Jimmy's contribution is more. Isn't it?
what a support for moeen ali from his team mates...great...nd also im wondering that broad give him advice..such a gd personality broadyy
3:17 emotional fan :)
Gawd, this video just reminded me of that summer of 2003. I was still working in London at the time. That was one damn hot few months for the UK. I remember the Tube being a bloody furnace on a couple of days. But, I emigrated to the US not long after this for about 10 years. Gave me a slightly different perspective on the meaning of "hot" ;)
Moeen Ali Know the Power of Review 😁. Watching that they only reviewed just to give Ali a hat-trick shot is awesome ..
WHY NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT JIMMY ANDERSON ACTION?
Yeah bro his action was very normal back then
YESSSSSSS FIRST THING I NOTICED
He was a fast bowler back then, so he got lesser swing. With a modified action, he got more swing.
Same as dale steyn in his early years.
@@chars_78 he lernd from jahir khan in 2008 and change his action for more swing bowling he started to bowl little slower
Stuart broad was my favourite bowler ever since I was young. That 2011 Hatrick brings back so many memories god I was so young and just hanging out with my brother watching test cricket amazing times...
This was the 1st ever hattrick against india in test cricket after 600 + matches India played. Bad luck india , big inside edge
Lol poor umpiring decision
I also have a memory of broad .... Those 6 sixes 😂😂😂 .... Who can forget them ... Broad paid for Flintoff 😂

Most of the Hat-trick were like 7,8,9 ..No offense to English bowlers as their ability is axiomatic....but being an Indian this reminds how awesome Irfan pathan 0-3 in first Over against Pak ...

How did the umpire missed that big inside edge of Harbhajan is still a mystery.
It's a shame for India there was no technology available to review... oh wait, there was except the BCCI or whatever they are called refused to allow it...
