I personally use an elite series 2 controller, and it really changed my gameplay (especially in edits, if you're using the right binds). But if you're a claw player (I am not), I don't think that it is really useful.
If you plan on buying one though, make sure you get a warranty with it, because there are a lot of reviews where one of the buttons don't work, and the controller is kind of pricey.

You could have a console that allows 144 fps, you NEED a 144Hz monitor for 144 or lower.
So, you need a monitor that has ATLEAST a 120Hz refresh rate.
