The US (and the rest of NATO) should treat the demolition of the dam in the region of Nova Kakhovka by russia -- and the potential nuclear catastrophe concerning the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (the ZNPP) - as russia using weapons of mass destruction against the civilian population of Ukraine. russia is a terrorist state. We already warned russia about the consequences of the use of a weapon of mass destruction against Ukraine - and they did it without regard. In the case of the ZNPP, they are likely to do it again - unless we act soon to stop them. Indeed, use of these WMDs constitute deliberate harm (an attack) against many outside Ukraine, including those in NATO nations - thus justifying NATO Article Five. NATO should seize ZNPP in a lightning airborne strike and defend it with airborne and ground assets until it can be rendered safe and returned to Ukraine.
I request that everyone write their elected representatives to express support for direct action by NATO, and also increased military aid to Ukraine, and increased sanctions against russia, and those that aid russia to evade sanctions. russia is a terrorist state - this is proven by the russians deliberately using a WMD against the Ukrainian civilians.

Hence, there's actually a method to this madness by the Russian High Command. All the while the Russian Armed Forces are growing stronger, larger, more advanced, adapting remarkably & vitally, gaining experience........When the dust settles, Russia will have the most powerful, battle hardened army on the planet and as such, they'll Never go back ; exactly as the Soviets did after years of attritional warfare in 1945.

It was a large “kaboom”. I saw dash cam footage where the blast wave was delayed more than two seconds and still had to force to smash the windshield. That’s a big badda boom
2 seconds is less than one km.

Even if “only” 700 m, for the shock to smash auto glass at that distance is a pretty big boom.
@@jcnikoley I was trying to be a bit generous for distance as you technically don't see any plum until after it has appeared over the objects in the distance. It could even be 3+ seconds.
You also have to remember that the car is probably a Lada, and the windshield will pop out if you sneeze a little too hard.

Russia forces are making huge gains and now approching Kupiansk. I think Russian forces are as close as 8km from Kupiansk. The battle for Kupiansk will start soon. UKraine evacuated all the civilian from Kupiansk.

These Kabooms will not take Ukraine anywhere. A round table talk is needed for both sides. A solution and a roadmap of peace is needed.
For that Russia would have to accept severe limitations on how much of Ukraine it could annex. Trusting any Russian statement on that is pointless. The "peace" that you want agreed would be treated by Russia as a breathing space in which to rearm. It would only be a pause, not peace.
Kaboom first, "negotiate later" has been the Russian method. Zelensky was ready to negotiate until the torture and killing of civilians in Irpin and another place close to Kiev came to light. After that, they couldn't abandon their people in any territories to live under Russian oppression. Besides, Russia had already annexed Crimea and used their paid "partisans" to effectively do that in the Donbas - since 2014. And Putler still wasn't satisfied. He wanted to create another Belarus-style population-spirit & freedom crushing puppet government, in his pocket like Lukashenko.

Losing factories has got to suck for Russia. That tooling isn't cheap or easily replaced. 🤷♂️
Especially In Russia, most of its heavy equipment is either stolen, bought or borrowed, especially pre cold war as most of its industry was propped up by the US in ww2. In addition, signs point that they haven't upgraded their infrastructure since, they still build tanks by hand, no power tools, not saying it's bad but production would be slow compared to more modern practices.
