Hello HH, we love your ingenuity and love seeing our PowerRacks adapted for all kinds of projects. Everyone should know that this kind of modification is not always necessary! The rack fits panels between 960-1050mm wide with no mods and no tools at all. And the larger version is coming out soon, which will handle the larger panels in the 1100-1300mm wide range.

Thanks. I wish you had the big ones when I did the project! My mods are holding up great. Thanks for watching!👍

@@homesteadhandyman4481 We wish it was already out too! Product design and development takes some time...as you can imagine, different sizes means different wind profiles, which means new wind tunnel tests and so forth. But we'd rather do it right than do it quickly. Stay tuned!

@@powerfieldenergy Just took a look at your product page. Still just see the one size? Also, curious if that price is for each "tub"? The listing mentions the word system in several places, exactly what would I get if I order just one?

@@p.t.anderson1593 Yes, our larger PowerRack has been delayed in design a little bit longer. We're testing different heights and pitch angles too, so that complicates our wind engineering. The PowerRack "system" includes simply the main rack plus two small mounting pieces that secure the panel's frame on the low side. That's all you need!

Just found your channel. Would love to hear why you left NC for NM. We live in Co and it is a challenge for me to garden here.

Why didn't you buy the correct mounts? I'm not going to mickey mouse my solar set-up. Wow, you're a movie star. Can I have your autograph?😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

They don't make one for that size dumbass. Guess you don't have any ingenuity in your pea brain. Have a nice day loser! Thanks for watching!

If you use PV Rails instead of junkyard steel, you could mount the panels in portrait with fewer racks. Powerfield makes extensions for wider panels. Yours may be too wide for that though.

We have very high winds so I wanted to keep the panels low to the ground. Thanks for watching Todd!
