In this video I show all current (as of September 4th, 2023) Best Buy Exclusive 4k Steelbooks from Lionsgate. If you're an admirer of steelbooks, you know Lionsgate know how to do them, so I hope you'll enjoy this overview.
Thanks for sharing your collection. A lot of cool artwork on those steelbook cases. I've learned from collecting other forms of media that if you don't break the seal then you're basically storing product for the next owner. That's fine if your goal is to flip it later, often times for less than you paid. I open all my steelbooks because I'm buying them for me, not someone else. I hope you unleash your collection from the seal someday and share the unboxing with us.
You’re 100% right - and I am getting them opened and watched. What I may not have said in that vid was how I had relatively recently gotten into physical media “heavily” in the prior 6 months. I went out and purchased mostly ALL those Steelbooks at once to “get them into my collection” as I wanted all the Lionsgate 4k steelbooks moving forward.
I’m definitely never planning to sell my collection so yes, it’s for me to enjoy.
I’m still a newer collector and had some disposable income and kinda went nuts. It’s been a process getting caught up and now watching all that great physical media.

Great stuff Ken. I love the Lionsgate steelbooks with the cool clear printed slips. But I only have a couple of them myself, so it was cool to see all the titles they have in this format. I didn't really know what all was available in this form by them. But interestingly enough, I was just watching my Total Recall 4k last night (I have the same steelbook set). Love that flick. Also, I was eyeing that John Wick stash box (which looks awesome!), but I ultimately decided to hold off until the series is completely finished (I have standard edition 4Ks of the JW films for now -- hoping we eventually get a final 4-5 film steelbook set, like with the Hunger Games. At that point, I'll double dip lol.).
This is all Ken’s fault @midlevelmedia lol - but I enjoy the sickness 😉 I do need to watch more of these but what I’ve collected so far, I am really enjoying them. Lionsgate is doing such great work on these. Glad you enjoyed seeing them all. Picked up the 3 expendables ones yesterday 👍🏼

I know right! I probably need to provide an update to this vid because I’ve since gotten every other 4k Lionsgate Best Buy (soon to likely be Walmart) steelbook releases. I’ve made a dent in these since I last filmed this vid but I do still have a way to go. But thanks for watching and commenting. Hope to see you around in future vids
I’ve got a big chunk of the Lionsgate steelbooks. The ones that I don’t have and want the most are that American Psycho and Rambo set. Good stuff bro!
I simply can’t get enough of the Lionsgate steel. They do such a great job and at such a great price. With Best Buy pulling out of the physical media market I’m very curious who will keep doing these. Word is someone is picking them up as exclusives so we’ll have to wait and see. I’ve continued to get the ones released after this vid and can’t see myself stopping. Love em all…

Soooo you collect but don't watch many of these films. Lame
I’ve been making my way through them since filming this vid. I bought a BUNCH of these very fast to pretty much get them all - still watching ever since and have gotten more 4k Lionsgate Steelbook exclusives since filming.
I still have a lot to watch but making progress. I probably grab on average 30 films a month and in my first year of collecting have probably bought 900 or so Blu-ray’s and 4ks.
So yeah - it takes me a while to watch them.
