I work in healthcare and sadly this happens more often than people think. I took care 2 woman that contracted HIV from their husbands. One woman she found out her husband was sleeping with her uncle. The other woman's husband was a pastor and she found out her husband was sleeping with a man in church. Some people are Treacherous!

I've witness someone go through back to back horrible events to the point she ended her life because she felt she was cursed. Both of y’all start talking about how one has to love himself first in order to love someone else but she didn’t say she prayed for a man to have self love/she prayed for a man that loved God .

This is a generational curse. I come from a family who has the same curse. We have to deal with this spiritually, because it’s a battle that is continuing to perpetuate itself in a physical form generation after generation. We didn’t ask for it and it’s not our fault, but we have to recognize it stand up and break it!❤
This was probably my favorite episode yet. And unfortunately these stories are not uncommon. The bravery and maturity of this young woman sharing her story, puts a face to so many who are living Brenda's story. Kuddos to the Bey's for allowing a safe space and a platform for these types of real life stories. Powerful stuff guys, keep it going.

Some of the comments are accusing her of lying. No one was there so we don't know but i will say that this is how trauma works. Sometimes you forget bits of the story and later remember so that could be why the story is kinda different. Her laughing and smiling doesn't mean it's funny, it could be her way of coping or she's had time to move on so it doesn't bother her anymore.
Go look at Renee Burgess HIV story they sound almost Identical. I believe she did get HIV, but this story keep getting bigger every time she tells it. You can not really find any information about her ex, usually these kind of situations you can find the information every where. She sensationalizes her situation

This was a whole brain freeze right here... a whole lot to take in. I found myself pausing the video at different times to question my 12-year-old daughter, has anyone touched her & so forth. I actually follow Brenda J, and of course, I've heard of this story, but to hear it from her mouth to include all the additional stuff she added that wasn't told before. There were so many emotions, so many lows, but the ultimate high is that she made it, she triumphed. Brenda J, you have a beautiful family. You have the love of God around & in you. I pray continued success for you & your family. More so, I pray your story saves a multitude of people because this story was crazy & just not right. Their was nothing normal about this... no checks & balances, no boundaries, etc. This is proof that demons are here on this earth, out here trying to destroy you.
