he was going entirely too slow when he hit the water. I think he would have made it otherwise. He should have also tried rocking to get out, not just laying into it.
my bad.. should have watched it all teh way thru before saying that. Was still going way too slow when he hit the water, BUT he did rock it very well and pulled out pretty good.
