@@ushondaw I tried it on the beach in Holland. It did 4km there and 4km back and the battery wasn't completely dead! That was the standard battery. The PRO battery is already available and it is almost twice as powerful!
I have the Rio mobility firefly and it’s not near as rugged as freedom trac, also have a powerDrive which sits under the chair, while a bit slow it will motor through a lot of different terrain
Only good for flat ground they fall over in any direction over 10 degrees, tracks don’t last in mud or sand , very little grip in the tracks . All in all a good idea done totally wrong
Actually, this goes fairly well up hill and does very well in sand. I have a Christmas tree farm that I use it so I can get around in fields and grass mostly. Have taken it to the beach and it was great there. I do not feel very stable on off-camber sitting sideways but up and down is very stable. The rollers keep from tipping end for end. It is not a good option for rough terrain or if you are going through woods with lots of obstacles to overcome unless yuo have groomed trail. The track is not real aggressive but overall I am pleased with the machine.
@@neemafastcat I live in rainforest totally the wrong machine despite what the hype says . It has thrown me with no warning in some very bad places only luck stopped me from serious injury. I have de commissioned mine and not game to sell it in case others get hurt . The only good thing are the batteries , extra range for a scooter the rest is just scrap . Watch your tracks when they start wearing they only stay on for about 300meters . Hope you have better luck
