Absolutely amazing video Pat, one of the best video guides I've seen, not just for pokemmo but gaming in general. The information is super indepth, I learned a tonne, the pacing was great and easy to follow. I'll probably rewatch the video a few times to pick up more (mostly because I suck at pvp) but amazing video 11/10
I followed this guide to build my team. This guide helped me win 6 PVP events, and I have been called the "Dyson" by players in-game due to my extreme sweeping prowess. All thanks to this guide. Amazing!

Tnx for this guide too. I wanted to try my first battle today, but it said that “some Pokémon did not have the right level” I couldn’t find anything about that in the rules. I might have missed that somewhere. I might try this in the future playing against friends really encouraged me to give it a shot. Keep up the good work, it really helps.
I tried it today again, and it says ´invalid level´ Is this new? I did not hear you about it in the guide. I wanted to try it and give it a shot even I am just a beginner.
We need way more options for pvp for example having a pokemon team that are only from one region vs another team with the same region pokemon would be a good start.
That it's only necessary to have 31 in attack and speed makes me so happy! I definitely made the mistake of getting only pokemon with 4x or 5x 31. Spent millions on it. This kinda put me off pvp as a whole cause it was too expensive. Verrryyy excited to spend my money on much cheaper pokemon now and get a much bigger pool to choose from.
Dont really know if anyone has info on this, but It's Doubles a 6v6 battle for a specific legal issue? This is just my opinion, but I definitely don't like it and could be a reason why 2v2s are not as popular as you mentioned in the video
Hey, I have a quick question if someone doesnt mind awnsering, I want to get into pokeMMO, but everytime i get to the 3th gym in Kanto i see pokemon(like horsea lvl 20-30ish ), have late game moves(like blizzard) for me this really is kinda weird, so I wanted to ask if this is for all regions and is this for the entire game?
The free Pokemon you get as a reward is so wack, you need to not only have spent a fortune already to make a pvp team so you can get wins into points but you need so so so many wins under the time constraint of a single season having to already be good at the game to get a Pokemon only maxed in two IV stats that might not even be good for the team you intend to use. Its crazy to me they cant just give you a 6x31 mon when thats what you get for placing top 3 in catch events which you just gotta get lucky at???
I understand the frustration and i want to preface i dont think your position is wrong, but i do disagree with certain things. You can win PvP mons with randoms which is awesome so you dont need pvp mons built to have to win them, Its also important to note that you could have a terrible win rate and still get the free mons if you grind which is a nice option for beginner pvpers. I also constantly advocate for 2x31 with 25+, the stat difference for when those defense stats matter on a pokemon like blaziken are so minimal, its usually a 1-2 stat difference at that point. And you only get a 6x31 when getting 1st place in a catch event. TLDR; They cant aggressively hand out perfect pvp mons every 2 weeks because then less and less of those mons are needed on the GTL and it hurts the economy. Having said all of this, PvP needs better rewards. I really appreciate you leaving your thoughts/feedback.
@@patrouski I personally can't see the economy getting crashed from a one time reward which requires alot of dedicated playing once a month. esp since said reward is randomized but I do admit I'm fairly newer to Pokemmo having just completed all my regions. pvp was just the most demoralizing experience in Pokemmo cause you had to dunk so much money into a half decent team even if you breed to essentially play showdown with subpar rewards (Mushroom cap vs a custom emblem on Showdown). The randoms format is the only one I see myself throw hours into since its free and theres no chance a Pokemon I worked hard to grind up will get knocked off the tier I play it in (RIP UU Salamence, this wouldnt matter in Showdown where theres no real resource loss.) I don't wanna seem like a hater or ungrateful player, Pokemmo is amazing and the pvp balance is incredibly designed. I just wish I had a pull to play this over Showdown other than "I might aswell"

How many IVs do you recommend after the nature is good and you are considering training them on EV? 4 IVs are quite expensive.

Yes that is normal, pokemmo is a fair bit harder than traditional pokémon.

Pokemmo pvp players are showdown players
