    Awesome channel!! Is there an optimum lead time for how long you want to list the tickets? I’m just wondering about the opportunity cost of holding an unsold ticket, and if it’s profitable to buy tickets close to an event.

      @@TicketFlippingOfficial To continue continue on this, is there a best practice in terms of holding high value tickets? Do prices typically rise or drop as the event gets closer, assuming it's sold out? It sound like it's best to always list immediately, why is that?

    • @TicketFlippingOfficial
      @TicketFlippingOfficial  Před 5 lety

      @@isthisPG Assuming its sold out you watch the market to see total remaining resale tickets and then price according to other brokers.

    • @thumbsuprun
      @thumbsuprun Před 2 lety

      @@isthisPG in normal circumstances, prices will fall as you get closer to the event date. This isn’t a hardened fast rule, but more of a general function. Some events may get more expensive as you approach the date but it really depends on many factors. It’s always better to list early for a high price and work your price according to others as more supply comes available on the resale market

    Hello thanks for the video...Please explain Platinum Seats. If Im correct you cant purchase these seats for resale.

    • @TicketFlippingOfficial
      @TicketFlippingOfficial  Před 5 lety

      Platinum Seats mean the price is adjusted by Ticketmaster. Platinum seats are usually sold after most of the tickets for the event have sold out, and are usually priced higher than those tickets. If tickets sell out for an event quickly, Ticketmaster may change the tickets to Platinum tickets instead and adjust the price on them. You can still buy platinum tickets to resell, however its not recommended because the price of these tickets are already inflated.

      Great question, we're answered this a few times before. We are brokers first and foremost, but our business sells the Toolbox Software: ticketflipping.com/ticketflipping-toolbox , just because we are brokers does not mean we did not see another opportunity for another business model selling Software services to brokers. We built these tools for ourselves and quickly realized how many Other brokers would want this. And if didn't do it, then someone else would have.
