Amazing! I'm a single mum to a 13 month old girl and I'm in recovery from drug addiction (Heroin/Crack) My daughter fortunately was born healthy even though I was on a methadone prescription. We are doing really well and I've been clean from street drugs since 19 weeks pregnant. It's been a massive journey but my daughter is my world. She has saved me & I'm thankful everyday. Unfortunately there is more stories of mothers not getting clean and this lady deserves a medal for her dedication to those children! 💜
good job!!! I got clean off of meth and ecstasy and coke when I was 4 weeks pregnant!!! I have been clean ever since!! I am a product of generational addiction and abuse... I now have 8 children and married and my oldest is 17!!! almost 18! you can do it keep your eyes on the prize a legacy of a victor!!! you can do it!!! i found jesus when my oldest was 8:) were there is a will there is a way!!

Its heart warming to see someone fostering for the right reasons and out of love...not a paycheck...sadly so many innocent babies children and adolescents that are still falling thru the cracks of this strained system.
You aren’t paid to foster. They do give a sum of money each month to pay for the child’s needs, but it is not a lot. It’s enough to cover what they need each month that there wouldn’t be much left over if any at all.
Foster Parent for 20 years and yes, drugs are the common and most frequent reason I get children. I laughed when they said, sometimes she takes in two children at a time. My normal is 4 to six each placement.....lol I've been changing diapers for 20 years....My biggest hurt is when kids come into care due to just plain ole poverty. No place to live, no way to provide. I say, children's services should try to help out the bio parents more before they just take the kids. I mean for real what they pay for foster care could be used instead to procure a place to live and use all the job services they have connections with to help them get a job, and all the food services they have access to, to help them with food, and help them get on their feet, all the while the children get to stay with mama and daddy. Not forever but say like 6 months of help with lots of counseling involved and drug testing and some parenting classes. And for the naysayers; Of course, I know not all bios would be a fit for something like this but even one group of children saved from foster care is better than none. And the cost could be significantly lower to the government.

donkey lvr. They cannot show his face. Children in foster care have confidentiality agreements. Their privacy needs to be protected, so names and faces cannot be shared on social media.
I would foster if I knew I could support a child financially

Some foster people are wonderful but I've seen so many stories where the foster care givers are just as insane 🤪 as the people who kill or hurt these precious children ❤️ so you might really look into more than is looked into is that place safe for the children alot have not been still bad outcome hard to understand
Why judge wirh foster care u are showing good choicez!!! Im a wreck but my child is out of the house doing GREAT isnt that what matters ?
