Awesome. You're great Jang. The city's really coming to life now! I was wondering, could you put your tiny camera on you rc car, or a front of the train, and drive around? Or are there wires or something stopping that from happening? Once again, I've followed you since '09 or so, and it's really refreshing to see someone on CZcams consistently hard working and a having genuine personality. Keep up the fantastic work!
banana
hey Jang, would it at all be possible to stick a camera on the trains to take a first person tour of the city? i dont know if you have cameras small enough but just an idea
Yep I've done it a couple of times in previous videos.
when will you be doing another LEGO unboxing
JANGBRiCKS you should put a camera on your little c drift car and drive that around the city
Fabian brick link search it up
PoilishedMahogony I think he already did that in another video last year.
Put a camera on a trail and film a trip through the city! I would enjoy that!
@JANG you have now inspired me to make my own LEGO CITY
SAME...EXCEPT I NEED MORE MINIFIGS,BRICKS ETC. THHXXX SO MUCH JANGBRICKS!!! ALOT 😎😂😀😏😇😜🔥💯🍌👍👌✌
B4SHER13 EMOJI OVERLOAD!!! EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!
Ultra Gamerz nice do anything you send your mind to man
XD
Ultra Gamerz same
you should make a tunnel with the rock formations for the train
Love your videos! Only just found your channel recently and already watched so much of it. It's really got me back into Lego seriously and I'm now working on upgrading my collection. Thanks!
i have been watching CZcams for a while now and this is the first channel i've turned on notifications for. i really enjoy the videos here!
wow! Its been a while since I checked this channel. Ive been watching the Jang city series since day 1. just wow.
you've come a long way, jang.
Looks great! I just did something similar on my layout, of course, no where near the size of yours. You likely have a better handle on it than I do, but there is always the fear that you'll rip into the major parts and find out it won't work the way you wanted it to and have to put it back, or can't figure how to get it back the way you had it. Thanks for sharing!!!
great video jang !! (as always). thank you for uploading great quality content everyday it really makes me happy to see what such a great community you have.
Having been around ever since you were in the process of building your custom Lego Zoo I'm really amazed how far you've gotten currently.
This is the most enjoyable series on CZcams for me, I love Lego, and it's also like watching a real city being built. Once I move out to live on my own, I hope I'll one day have something like this.
Wow this is just amazing! Love seeing the progress on your city. You keep amazing me every city update! I hope you hit 1 million soon, you deserve it!
great job jang! I remember when u first started this city! keep it up :D
I really like seeing updates of your city, it looks simply amazing! Even if you have official Lego buildings and plan on creating your own in the future, it's fine, and I can't wait to see a new skyscraper in your city as well, you've got a lot of work ahead of you I think! Good luck!
Looks good! You have inspired me to get back into lego since I stopped, and I love it since I used to! From the UK!!
Wow that is awesome!! Great job on all your hard work! Keep it up!
Great progress on your city as always Jang, the Main Street is starting to take shape, but I can't imagine how much better it will look when you replace the modulars with your own custom builds. Can't wait for the next update! ;)
I have modified a plastic flex track to be used with my 9v metal tracks. A bit time consuming but works!
Hey! You finally covered up the fireplace! Also, that shot at the end from a minifig's perspective was awesome!
Thank you for letting me see how the trains work!
1:25 That spot behind the houses would make a great area for a train tunnel :)
welcome back to jangs old city,
Where lots has changed,
And the parks are pretty.
This is really nice! Great vid!
Holy crap... your city is awesome! The sheer size is jaw dropping. Looking forward to seeing this awesome work in progress project.
ive always wanted to make a city like this. you do a great job, keep it up
Looks great as always! 👍
I never knew you still did videos jang(I was a big fan of your old rc channel)I'm glad I found this I'm getting back Into lego myself keep up the good work.
It's great to see that you still have time to work on the city. Personally, I like the area where you display whole sub themes of sets, like the volcano sets. Those displays always have looked good in my opinion, but if you do end up getting rid of them I'd be excited to see what goes there
COOL UPDATES JANG!!!😙😙👍👍
Jang. You should really, and I mean REALLY publish your planetary defence force stuff on Lego ideas! It would work great as a theme! I'd certainly buy the rocket!!
IRON SPID3R yeah ok
I'd buy the laser tank if it became an ideas set.
Or the space bomber.
but then his city won't be as unique!
IRON SPID3R yeas agree I'd buy one of his customs trains
please answer ASAP
1. where do you get those rock parts? the little ones.
2. I'm making a lego GCPD moc, and I'm taking inspiration from the ghostbusters firehouse. any good tips for building structures in that style?
That's a really nice city mate. Thanks for inspiration for future 🙂
What is your mini camera (Minifigure view) and where did you get it.
I love it! I love that Google Street view at the end :D
Very cool Jang!
your city has evolved so much!!
Nice Jang! I have collected about 50 LEGO City sets and Creator sets over the years and today started making my city. I have some roads laid down and buildings. I know that my city will never look as good as yours. Haha
will you make a tunnel out of those rock formations?
Ao1 Pointblank ya thats what i was thinking
I thought they were temporary place holder and he's gonna get rid of them soon...
That would be cool
Yeah that would be a good idea unless he has something else to do there.
Ao1 Pointblank that would be a good idea but I think it will be a little ugly because those big tree's
This was so cool!!
This is the most inspiring Lego city I have ever seen, thanks for being an awsome Lego creator :D
2:48 I was afraid the switch was gonna trip or something and the train would fly off the table! Lol
Congrats on 1M!
I love how he runs the trains when he does the update
Awesome job jang I love your city
Those rock formations beside the train track could be a short train tunnel with taller walls and a ceiling section. Imagine the beautiful background rock face that could be carved behind the residential area! 🚇⛰
That green baseplate area, I feel as if that would be a great place to have a forest preserve park or something similar to that, just to add a little bit more green to the city. Just a suggestion. Keep up the amazing work on the city!
Hi Jang love your channel. I am just about to start my lego city. I wanted to know if you have bought any more tables from your original 12 when you setup thanks Donna
behind the temporay houses, you should build a tunnel with those rocks, going over the train tracks, maybe even a mountain to hide the backside
dude you inspire me to get back to Lego. New Subscriber!
your very helpful for my Lego organization thank you and very well done 👏
I can't wait to see where this goes 2 years from now, I can't wait to see all the new stuff coming in soon!
I love Lego I watch your vids all day
I hope to have a huge town like yours I've resently started an obsession with legos it's great
I liked this video and I have watched your videos for 3 years
You should try and make a ice hockey rink moc
Or a trampoline park
The sidewalks along the modulars looks great, Jang! Nicely put together although there's some studs of space between the sidewalk and the road. Is that finished yet? Or what's your plan on those? Cheers from the Netherlands!
I wish I could shrink down and live in your city. It's just so gigantic and lively and realistic. Great job.
This is awesome I love your vids
wow....if I had the space would to create such a set! well done, it's my dream :D
I love the fact that you get so many good ideas for your city. My city only has one problem. I have two modular buildings, seven lego trains, a few creator beach houses but that's about it! Where do you buy bricks by the piece from?
Awesome city man!
I have a suggestion: It might sound kinda stupid, but could you make a separate Minecraft city? Like, I know you have some Minecraft stuff underneath all your city stuff, so if you could make an entire city all based on Minecraft it'd be cool!
Jang city is awesome! Dude I wanna build something like that one day that was a awesome video and review bro
It'd be really neat to see you make a full enclosed rock tunnel over the train track.
I think it would be really cool if you were to add some sort of central landmark/monument to your city. Like new York had the statue of liberty, London has big Ben, rome has the coloseum. I think something like this would add lot of culture to your city and make it feel like a real city, cities are built up over hundreds of years. Anyway I really like the way its looking and I love your content.
Looks great!
Hi Jang, have you thought of attaching a small camera to the RC Lego car and driving it through the city for a great ground level perspective. I would love to see that!!
Yay u are my biggest hero. You listended to me to do a lay out. Than you very much
Awesome jang
Jangbricks your Lego City is AWESOME
This is so awesome !!!!
The rocks near the train tracks look good
Jang u know the extra space behind the modulars. Build like a protection for trains if they are not used
If you used correctly the lego delimitacion of the street and the sidewalk should go next
to the culvert gaining much space in the constructions
0:44 I have that blue keep with camper behind it.
Hi, I really like and amused by your great work. Would you please introduce the green painted building showed up at 7:36? (or please let me know the keyword of the introduction video of this building if you've already done the intro?) it seems there are lots of stories! and I love all the scenario you set up! thanks for all these great video!
love your videos
The city looks so alive with the trains! I wish the cars and motorcycles could drive around too.
I think behind the modulers you should put another side of the station and bridge over to it from the original side.
You could read the comments for what everyone wants you to review, make a list, buy the sets, put them to the side, and focus on mocs, so that makes it a win - win.
JANGBricks I believe between the station and the modular you should do a second platform with a overpass bridge to get to the other side
Your a pro! How did u get those trains moving?!
Do you need to dust your city often? I notice in the video there are very little dust, which I am having a hard time keeping my set clean...
Do you do voice overs on all your videos?
Just wondering, how do you go about securing your track layout down? Is it just secured by the studs on baseplates or is it just sitting there unsecured.
Just interested because i can't figure out a decent way to secure my layout and when i have my loco's running it shifts the layout slightly.
Cheers.
Jang your city inspired me to build my own city. Can you show how to make some of your MOC cars in one video?
You're doing great job Jang! This city is amazing! By the way, what would you say, to create a tunnel from those rocks around train road, and put there a hill, mountain, or some houses?
Hey jang, the cities looking great but I feel in order to drive home some of the realism it would be beneficial to put in some parking lots or even a parking garage near mainstreet
with the green plates you should make a harbor you know for kayaks
You vid was cool and has inspired me to build my own creation but not with Lego city but Lego Star Wars
That's cool I'm starting to build my own city do you have any suggestions?
Jangbricks, can you section off an area just for a car show or something like that, Thx
at those temporary base plates you could do a statue of a planetary defence hero or something.
What's the population for Jang City? Just kidding, that would take to long.
i've always wondered that too. i wouldn't be surprised if it's close to or over 1,000, i think there's between 100-200 inside his mall alone.
I'll give you an estimate d answer about 250
Alessandro E.G. No jk. We need the answer!
I wonder how big their cemetery is
The cemetery is just a plastic recycling plant XD
hey Jang I think you should make a dragstrip as part of your city I would love to see it
I think it would be absolutely awesome if you made a mega construx call of duty display just like room 117. That would be so cool for me. Keep up the amazing work jangbricks
I can't wait to see your custom houses! Are you going to have a diverse display of varying styles in architecture (such as modern or even perhaps Gothic) or is it just going to be one style of houses to reinforce continuity?
Are all the baseplates offical Lego? or are some compatible? just wondering which is better for when my daughter and I start making a city
looks great!
It would be cool if you added ambience to every building. like in sim city or roller coaster tycoon. Every structure you click on, or if your close enough to it, they have there own special ambient noise. Depending on what the structure is. For example.. if it's a church, you may hear bells ringing, if a factory - steam whistle, police station - sirens, nightclub - house music. Bustling resturant - voices chattering/glasses clinging. You know? Food for thought.
