Yes..Hornbill festival should be cultural festival and must display our tradition... westernized lifestyle should be totally banned in morung. Visitors must respect the tradition.
This Hornbill Festival should be held on a routine basis to every districts. The government of Nagaland should provide better networking connection as this year due to poor quality of networking those business walas had a bad nightmare
Bro, your overall observations all shot the target. Yes, the prices of food was however reasonable, but those traditional products were all made of Gold and Silver I assume. Not only the foreigners, but even we want to purchase /have each other's traditional thing but they were quite overpriced. Should change the mentality of getting rich overnight. Also, it would be very good if a dedicated mobile tower is set up there, as the network is very poor out there. And the Assam rifles MORUNG should not be allowed there because they don't belong to any of the Naga tribe. They can have a Tent or a house, but should not resemble a Morung. And this time, the Music fest was a Hell..very disheartening.😡😡😡
I suggest to hold the night entertainment in a different area altogether. The Kasima village would cater to visitors that are actually keen to explore the Naga culture, culinary, history. The modern dance and music held elsewhere will attract the fun seeking crowd. Don't deter from objectives.

Music festival should promote mostly traditional music and modern folk song..not western music, not western fashion design dress....if the state govt. Wants to attract domestic and foreign tourist. Because they will come to witness our traditional dances and folk lores. Moreover, They will not come to see western music styles😂and fashion...because its their culture and we copycate them.
