I've never driven my 80 Series without the power-steering working. But from what you looked like wrestling the steering wheel, it looks like a b*stard of an experience. "Dead horse", now that's a slang word for tomato sauce that I haven't heard in a long time. Onya mate.
Yeah mate it's a game changer but just pushed on, it's happened a couple of times that.
The old dead horse never goes astray.

Think that hut is maintained by the Pajero 4WD club.
Yeah could be, I know it's a memorial hut built because two cross country skiers died
Some top spots there! Was like watching Wrestlemania seeing you try to steer the Red Rocket. Probably looked like Popeye when you got home! 😂🍺

This one was definitely a game changer mate.
It's happened a couple of times.
One time, I was on a snow trip and lost the power steering.

That hut is at 1650m give/take a few metres. Have to remember that hut for a trip ! Cheers for another great vid and hope you found a can of spinach in your kit bag.. an 80 Series with no power steering would be a killer on the arms !

You want to be careful what you show on public media. No dogs allowed at that hut. It’s in the Mt Sterling Resort. Not sure if you’re even allowed to drive in there as it’s a walking track.
