Based on my lease ending on my AWD Equinox LT (which I enjoyed), I got a 2023 Trailblazer "LT" which has the 1.2-liter motor & CVT transmission (they had no AWD in stock, nor any coming anytime soon). So far "IMO" it's a great little SUV (which has a "fairly" good amount of interior space & easy to get in and out of). Also to my eyes, it's pretty good-looking and drives very well/ solid, and has "just enough" power to get the job done. For me being single, and not driving that much it's a great choice/ sufficient for my needs/ wants, and for the cost of things these days, I feel it's "a pretty good value" at approx. $26K.

Just purchased this vehicle yesterday 9/11/23 here in Quebec city, needed the AWD because of our snowfalls. It truly seems a very well built SUV. Even though it's the smaller range it is still bigger than my Hyundai Kona. So far even after only 24hours and 511 km or 317 miles I love it. It had continued power to take me out on the highways and pass other vehicles. City driving was comfy and hardly heard any noises from the motor. Can't wait to put the Kayaks on the roof and enjoy our fall weather and take it out to the back roads and lake area.
PS. Thanks for your video it helped on my decision. I purchased the Mahogany Red by the way.

I do allot of steep mountain climbs in snow everyday for work at a ski resort and my 2023 trailblazer stays above 20 mpg while driving on AWD, Then around 35mpg on cruise control while on the freeway in FWD I only have 3000 miles and only had 1 check engine light when I was climbing in high altitude and sometimes the O2 sensor trips itself but doesn’t bother the drive, the shop cleared it and it hasn’t come back since but overall I’m very happy with it

@@ck3979 so far I have 23,000 miles on it and i still LOVE IT, I drive it about 4 hours everyday like a RACE CAR and most of the time I’m driving 100mph cutting up traffic and sometimes even 120 when a Subaru wants to race with me, once I’m in the snow I’ll slow down to about 80 and take all turns about 60 to 40 with no problems whatsoever, still running just like new with only 1 con, the o2 sensor still sends me check engine lights when I’m in the elevation, but since already know it’s nothing serious I still drive it without worrying and it usually goes away the next morning I turn the car on

Following up today with an out the door quote and deposit on an incoming RS trim and cross comparing vs Buick twin was no contest. After matching up features give and take, Buick shot themselves in the foot with the mandatory $1500 option (subscriptions) that expires in 3 years and has no trade-in value like other more substantive options (moonroof, Bose/Tech Pkg, etc) would. One thing never mentioned in reviews is that the Trailblazer (and Buick) with the 1.3L AWD only are one of 5 vehicles (3 GM, 2 Ford hybrids) in the 3000-4000lb weight class that can be towed 4 wheels down behind an RV. Of all the competition, no others qualify.

I had purchased a 2023 Trailblazer in August. The car was well made on the inside. If you are just driving every day driving it will probably be ok.It make a little noise while you driving. If you are traveling on the interstate this car not that good. Keep in mind it’s only a 3 cylinder.I do a lot of traveling so I traded it for a Mazda 3.I love it.The engine in the trailblazer doesn’t have enough power.I had the LT.You have to pick a car for your life style.Over all not a bad car.I don’t no how the turbo drive on the rode.I didn’t no it was a. 3 cylinder until I purchased it.

On a 2023 trailblazer LT, via the chevrolet website it is "available" as opposed to a standard for all LT models. So whether yours has it depends if the option was added.

Just curious if that spare is full-sized or just a donut? I ask because although an AWD system can definitely be useful, it comes with two disadvantages. Should it ever break, fixing it is just naturally going to be more expensive than a FWD system. But also, get a flat, you have to use a spare that is the same size as the other tires. Otherwise, you risk damaging the AWD system by using a smaller spare tire.

0-60mph is going to be about 12 seconds.
My 1998 Ford Escort Sedan was about as slow.
And, that vehicle couldn't get out of its way.
Left turns at an intersection required more waiting.
If cars were coming from the opposite direction.
Taking busy entrance ramps onto the expressway?
White-knuckling it all the way down, hope faster cars weren't coming.
Against the competition, the Trailblazer is too slow for the price.
Folding front passenger seat is literally all it has over the competition.

It's not about racing. I can tell you've never owned a vehicle THAT slow. If you had, you never would have made such a comment and compared it to racing. It's about safety. It's about having enough power under the hood to quickly maneuver your way out of a possible collision or accident.
