- Today we are going back in time and checking out what is now a retro racing title RACE 07 and the awesome touring car mod by AndreasFSC.
We take the iconic Super Touring Volvo 850 Estate, yes thats right an estate, around the absolutely mad Knockhill circuit and see how this mod and sim perform in 2020 !

Never heard of this game before last week. Looking great for a old game. Do you know if the Volvo is available for rf2? Been looking for it without succes. And I see a Peugeot 405. Great content in your channel mate. Love touringcars
It’s a bit of a classic now but still works with modern hardware and we can even ramp up all the eye candy with today’s beefy PC’s. I have not as yet come across the Volvo estate in RF2 but I live in hope somebody does bring it to the newer platform. Thanks for the kind comments appreciate it mate.
Hi! How did you make the graphics look so good and crisp? Nice driving! It's truly one of the best mods for Race 07.
I just set all the in game graphics options up to the maximum as Race07 is an older title it does not hurt performance.
Love the elevation changes. Classic series, nostalgic era, great drivers, cars and liveries. Which is imho terribly underplayed. Loads of door to door racing to be had.
RaceRoom (non-mod) is the only other SiM that comes close to to bring some of these cars back to life in a meaningful way, not overly found at AC’s attempt the cars just don’t feel right to me.
Hope to see more of this content using the Grocery Getter is in the works.
Thanks mate. Really enjoy Knockhill as it’s such a tight track it always means you are all bunched up when racing. I agree about RaceRoom they have nailed the touring cars in that title and I find myself often racing them against the pretty decent AI. We have a new video coming featuring a much newer BTCC estate but the magic of super tourers means I will be back with these cars again soon.
Race 07 - must be more than 10 years old. Ahem... 07.

Got a bit carried away when making the video and may of got my years and maths a little wrong 🤦♂️ it’s amazing how much content there is and is still coming for this title all these years later. It’s well worth checking out if it’s on sale mate.

Cheers. There was s no championship or anything at the minute we are just doing some races as and when we can. You can still join and just jump on whenever you want, it's up to you.

how many opponents can you have on track?
I believe it’s limited to the track, I think this track topped out at 24.
