I really miss picking blackberries, such a great experience , we had so much fun making black berry cobbler especially as a Child is what I truly miss!
I am 70. This is the first year I carried clippers and wore a canvas shirt and a leather glove on the left hand. We froze 81 pounds of Himalayan blackberries frozen. We got 30 pounds frozen raspberries from the (8) Autumn Britten raspberries we got from Raintree in 2018.
Oh my goodness-what a splendid haul! You are a berry growing wizard. My aunt and I used to get that many picking wild black raspberries in NE Indiana. I can still taste them. I grow black raspberries now in Southern Illinois. They connect the generations as they are my grandson’s favorite as well as mine with our blackberries a close second.
