Imagine not knowing whats going on then boom, your beat friend is ripped from you. Taken away, instantly. Then getting blown up, almost dying. We need more object shows with drama and sadness that really hits hard, like This and ONE.

I think this one is better than ONE imo (stay with me here) because I like shows that can have a serious story, but not if there is no way to make any jokes or do something funny once in a while. With this show, there are some slight jokes to break up the sad tension, but with ONE if you binge it you are lucky to get a laugh in an hour (the first time I even laughed was during Texty’s first appearance in season 2 {the air horn joke}) this show is definitely sad but I love the slight humor behind it. Heck, that’s why I like the FNAF games with Andy Field the most, because there is *humor*

at first, this episode seemed fun but the ending just hit me in the feels
since Spray Paint survived, he will have to live with a massive injury and the loss of his closest friend.

I noticed a little detail!
On the note with the roses... it shows a few words " Get Well Soon " and a little picture of SPEECH BUBBLE.
After the incident, Spray Paint battered and damaged, now Speech Bubble is still trying their best to make up for what happened in the past, sending flowers. AW.
It's such a cute detail. AHHH.

One of my favorite things ever are shows that don't have happy endings where each problem gets resolved. ALSO I LITERALLY CRIED WHEN "Be a Friend to Me" STARTED PLAYING AND WE SAW WHAT HAPPENED TO SPRAYPAINT😭😭😭

I just appreciate how human-like of a character Spraypaint is. I’ve legit seen some of his experiences or traits adopted by actual people irl, and it was so well interpreted here.
All the other characters were great too. I love the writing this in a bunch and it makes me really happy, amazing work.

WAA THIS WAS A HORRIBLY GREAT EPISODE,,, THEIR LITTLE ARCS WERE SO SWEET BUT HINDSIGHT MAKES THE WHOLE THING SO MUCH HARDER 2 WATCH CHRIST,, IT KIND OF EXPLAINS WHY THEY WERE SO EAGER TO BURST INTO THE MANOR AND START DEVOURING FOOD LIKE ANIMALS,, THE ANIMATION, BGS AND COMPOSITION DONT MISS A SINGLE BEAT AND ARE ALWAYS SUCH A TREAT 2 LOOK AT,, THAT ENDING THOUGH,, IT HIT ME LIKE A TON OF BRICKS, the dark and quiet ambience only permiated by the occasional beep of the machinery surrounding him, the listless and exhaustedly defeated expression on his face, the severity of his injuries and how visible the fact its wearing him down slowly is, and his idle staring at the swirling fan IS ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKINGLY DONE SO SO WELL,,, one question though,, with how almost every character in the series mentioned seems to serve at least some kind of purpose or ties back into the main narrative,, who was that couple who got into a car crash,,,??

In previous intros the characters lose their glow in the intro when they die. Mouse wasn’t glowing but Spray paint was glowing at the end before him being alive was revealed. I think that’s genius.

@@slyar have to agree. Objects aren’t using themselves. What’s the point of an object show if you could just do a human show?
However, Allen seems to be trying to fix this. He incorporated abilities to heist members. Hopefully we’ll see how SPT’s spray will come to use.
@@Firefly256 I wouldn't really say that, this isn't as mind blowing as one, it doesn't do anything TOO substantial, but it still is way better than most object shows!
a few things to point out:
-spray paint was probably getting paid to come along on those heists, considering how little he does I’d say he’s getting a pretty good deal.
-laser pointer should know that cutting spray paint loose risks him calling the cops, and spray paint could have possibly stayed on the team by threatening to do so.
-police radio code 10-40 means no lights or sirens, which isn’t what it was used for by the heist crew in this episode. which mainly annoys me because they likely use other radio codes correctly, i.e. 10-4.
The Nightly Manor's definitely one of the most incredible and exceptional object shows of all time. This may have taken a while to finally be finished but I'm sure when the premiere begins it'll definitely be worth it. Wonder how Tophat and Sketchpad will deal with the loss of their loved ones and what they'll get up to now.

what an episode, a mixture of both happiness, and sorrow. Truly really sad how Spray paint survived, knowing he’d suffer from his brutal injury, and a loss of probably his greatest and closest friend. Hits me real hard watching this. The end starts to seem to have a happy vibe, but it then begins to get truly very sad, this is honestly the best non-object battle show there was. What an ending (for now).

Hearing the beeps on the hospital monitor while the flashback was happening at some points was a great touch
it wasnt a flashback it was what happened after the explosion

THESE ORIGINAL SONGS ARE DESTROYING ME. The end credits had spray paint shown while mouse sang. The end credits last episode had Tophat shown while GPS sang. Both of these have survivors with songs sung by the people who meant the most to them and imf going to cry

Absolutely stellar episode! Just got into this recently and in love with this series!

Been listening to the ending/credits song a bunch and one lyric stuck out to me, "We’re colder but I’ll never leave" specifically.
Not sure if anyone else has pointed this out before but it hit me that it could be symbolic for how now Mouse is colder because she's dead, but she'll "Never leave" because she'll always be in Spraypaint's heart. It can also be seen as how Spraypaint is colder because he lost is closest friend, and Mouse will "Never leave" because he'll never stop thinking about her similar to how Sketchpad and Tophat never stop thinking about the ones they lost too.
Either way the song hits hard and it's brilliant!

Spray paint made me cry. genuinely. i can relate to the feeling of trying to be someone people can rely on and always be there to help, but never actually being able TO help. to feel worthless, and to feel like you’re trying to hard for a world that doesn’t care. gosh i’m crying lol

we left chap 1 seeing spraypaint getting kicked outta the bar, and now that we have some more lore, i’m pleasantly satisfied getting to know mouse and spray just a little more. the end was amazing too, it was great to know spray survived! i hope the gang comes back more so we can see more lore! i also like how in the intro it highlights the characters the episode is going to be focusing on in full white, while the other characters opacity is not as visible. i like the drinks reference too, this episode left me amazed!
the condensed heart beating makes me think that GPS might return in a future episode

When I first watched the nightly manor, I was devastated to see spraypaint die. He was already my favourite character and I liked him so much. This episode was amazing and hearing that spraypaint is ALIVE feels even more devastating, because now he has to deal with the mental and physical trauma,, this was an amazing episode, it broke my heart

You know how the new intro in Part4 shows dead ones with a grey outline while those alive have white outlines.
The same applies for this one. Though we already knew Spraypaint is alive at the end of credits, its a cool foreshadowing and those who knew the details might've found out before the end reveal

The way this episode shows all of the character’s past lives before most of them got murdered or injured. And more Ring screentime yay!!! I also like how Sketchpad had a colorful desk!! It was adorable and silly honestly. The fact Tophat and GPS(?) crashed their car is kinda wow!!!

BECAUSE I WANTED TO GENUINELY CRY. Tears of happiness BUT STILL!
Also somehow I kinda... had a feeling? Like I never guessed he was alive- okay, maybe half-way through the episode at the jail scene I was like "omg what if he lived tho" not really believing it. But I always thought Spray Paint's death just kinda felt... off? I dunno his death felt like one just kinda thrown in there so I'm glad he didn't actually die! Also makes sense why we're getting an backstory for him, Mouse too, instead of just cuz "lmao be sad now". Nothing wrong with that but it just makes the episode feel so much better it's not because of that. Anyways, I'll stop this comment here. Great episode! The Nightly Manor remains a favorite object show of mine!

One small detail i noticed was that in the intro we see that spray paint, mouse, and speaker are all lit up and the rest are darkened meaning that episodes mostly focuses on characters that are lit up in the intro. This is backed up by the fact that SP and mouse had a bunch of screentime. Plus some moments with speaker here and there and obviously the encounter SP had with speaker. And also backed up from the previous episode's intro having only tophat and sketchpad lit up because they were the only survivors (SP aswell as shown during the after credits) and i like how its all tied up with the fact all the characters had encountered one another 1 year ago. Reminds me of hoodwinked
a small detail, if you look at the transparency, Tophat has a 40% transparency on the color white, GPS has 0% transparency but with a gray color. at the end, you hear GPS'S sounds, typically meaning that GPS is still alive. i do have a small theory on this. They either used GPS'S chip in part 3, or probally because GPS is a technology being, just like the heart moniter at the end.
Allen, you have really outdone yourself. This is one of my favourite episodes of any object show.
The world building was needed and the new characters are all so unique in their own way. Seeing more of Spraypaint and Mouse was fun yet serious, especially with the ending. Even when I knew it was coming, it's still so emotional (with the music, OMG it's an amazing combo) and the best ending in any object show. The visuals were just so good, there's so much I wanna say about the backgrounds and animation, but I don't wanna write an essay (might be too late).
Seeing everything come together was just so cool, I know how much you put into this episode and it shows. Everyone deserves to know that you are one of the most dedicated, talented people I've ever met. Every part had thought put into it and everyone on the crew should be happy with the final product. So glad I got to help out more too!!
Long message, I know, I just love every part of this episode. You should really be proud of this episode, it's not easy managing a crew and dedicating yourself to an episode like this, but you make it look so easy! Take a nice kind break my friend, you deserve it!

I didn’t know much about the series at first, but I looked it up after I saw something about it on Tiktok. I didn’t know this series would be a roller coaster of emotions, but honestly I think that made the series better.
I enjoyed the premiere and it was worth staying up till midnight to watch, Im excited to see what else is in store for the series.
That ending scene was just, wow! I didn’t really know what was going on at first, until I realized that chat was going crazy and then I realized what was happening. Truly a roller coaster of emotions! :]
this show places in so much lore behind a single murder case in a mansion and I find that real interesting
it's always fun bc it's not excatly clear exactly what parts of the puzzle are yet to be filled
Edit: I realize, that during the intro, the people that DONT SHOW UP in the episode are greyed out, outruling the theory that the greyed out charatcers are dead. However, the outro suggests that mouse is dead, but I almost don't wanna believe it based on the intro theory. 😭 anyways, I loved this episode. So much. I can't wait for more.

This is probably a ridiculous theory but what if Lazey was the one behind the manor killings? Minus Top Hat possibly, Lazey would have a reason for inviting the objects she did. Sketchpad and Speaker are both detectives, and having both of them killed would potentially benefit their group. Spraypaint and Mouse disappointed the group, which could lead to Lazey wanting revenge. Ring was the one who almost caught the group stealing the diamond, so Lazey could have killed her off in order to make future heists easier, or simply just wanted to get revenge. The evidence is pointing towards the killer hacking and using GPS to indirectly murder the people in the mansion, which is the type of scheme Lazey would come up with. I’m not entirely sure about Top Hat, maybe it was something to do with psychologically messing with him but I’m not sure. The fact that Lazey is now in possession of an expensive diamond means she could have bought the mansion with the money she gained from selling it, but I’m not sure if that would make sense or not. Either way, this episode was great and I’m excited to see where they go from here!

I'm happy it's back after a while. This made mouses death so much more sad since we got more of her back story with her freinds and such.
i was bouta complain about how short it was, then i realized, it was 14 minutes?!
i don't understand how people can make something that is so interesting, that it made a 14 minute video feel like 5 minutes!
what im trying to say is, allen, you did an AMAZING job on this episode. it feels like every episode dives deeper into the lore and is better than the last.
you and your crew really outdid themselves this episode, and every episode is well worth the wait, this is by far the best non-competition object show ive ever seen, definitely in my top 5.
just don't get into that spiral where you feel like you have to make every episode better than the last, make sure you're happy making this, and look after your mental health, because that is more important than anything.

Some thing I noticed is some times you can here spray pains heart monitor in the background beeping, meaning this is just his memories leading up to the incident. Also if anyone hasn’t noticed, if an object is bright in the intro that means there still alive
I think it just means that they are the protagonists of the episode
the end scene had me bawling my eyes out. nevertheless, this was really good!! although i wasn’t there in the live chat this was a really nice insight into what happened before TNM! and the song was a real banger. i hope there’ll be more episodes after this!

I love how they focused on these two this episode, makes me excited if the rest of them are going to get backstories.

If you think about it, Spray is the most tragic alive character by now, he lost everything. Tophat and Sketchpad at least have where to live and someone to talk, but Spray doesn’t have anything, and there’s a question. Is this better than death?

It makes me like spray paint even more when he sacrificed himself to save top hat and sketch pad. Edit: I heard that he is actually alive but I didnt think he actually was! I'm so glad hes alive!

I think the mastermind purposefully picked out the cast of The Nightly manner;
Spray paint ruined the heist and mouse was one of the best team mates on the gang
Speaker and note pad are detectives working on the case, so by killing them the case will be delayed even further, and maybe get attention off the heist crew
Ring was the owner of the museum/ someone important to the museum, so her kill must've been out of revenge
Although GPS and Tophat don't really have connections, i think they were added in to lay blame to GPS and make it seem like the murders were random
I believe the most likely culprit it laser pointer as she wanted to get rid of her loose allies and throw off the investigation, I believe she created the virus to pin the murders on GPS, but two people survived throwing the entire plan into chaos

Why would Lazy do that after a whole 1 year? Spray Paint and Mouse weren’t snitching on Lazy, and they already stole Ring’s museum. No reason to take vengeance
@@Firefly256 Honestly, as much I like my own theory, Ring and the time skip brick wall it, the best I can come up with is; Ring being a petty kill, and the year being the time it took Lazy to set up the manor and hire someone to develop the virus. I could be proven wrong, but I don't think there's a way Top Hat is connected to the others.
@@paldiowebimbo6186 I really doubt Lazy would go out of her way to kill Spray Paint and Mouse. If the vengeance kicked in, shouldn’t the most vengeful time be after the heist? Lazy just, let them go. So clearly she didn’t want/need to kill both of them.
And if Mouse was the best member, shouldn’t the logical thing be to recruit them back? They’re literally homeless and have no money, they have a hard time surviving, just give Spray Paint a role to play and they’ll join back.
Also, Tophat is invited because he is friends with GPS. If GPS was alone, he would’ve been very suspicious after the first kill because everyone had a partner. They knew they can trust each other so GPS would be highly suspicious.

This episode… wow this is one of my favorite episodes of an object show ever. The animation was great with my personal favorite being the shot of Spray paint in the hospital bed. The voice acting was as top notch as ever especially with Mouse and Spray Paint. The writing was great with all the dialogue feeling so real and it made me really enjoy these characters which makes there deaths all the more heartbreaking. Spray Paint and Mouse’s friendship here was so great and better then what I’ve seen from most object shows. If I have one complaint is that it would have been nice to see more of Ring as we don’t know much about them as we barely see them in the episode and the rest of the show in general. That last point was just me nit-picking this is still an incredible episode 10/10

Oh my god.The ending was very sad when I saw Spray-paint on the bed at the end.He has to live with a masssive injury and a dead friend he loved dearly.Also that little touch with Speech Bubble giving him the flowers was an amazing touch. This Webseries is amazing and wish you will continue to make these.

This episode was amazing. The writing on this show is top notch, the characters feel real. They have emotions and bonds with each other, making some of their fates more saddening.

I feel bad for spray paint. He just wants to someone to be proud of him for once. He wanted to help, and when he finally did, all he got in return was getting banished.

this episode was amazing! i swear theyre getting better each time, and i LOVED episode 4 to death. nearly started crying at the ending song there. im very excited to see where this show will go in the future and i just KNOW im gonna start sobbing with each new episode

Woah, I didn't think I would actually enjoy this as much as I thought. This was fantastic and the storytelling was really detailed! Great episode, definitely the best one in terms of pacing. I love it!
As usual, this episode was one of the best! Seeing their past really gave us some more info on their past! The crew did a REALLY good job on animating and the music!
Oh my god- this was AMAZING! I was literally holding back tears after seeing the end and thinking about it for a while. Keep up the great work! :D
