I make these jars of ready to heat and eat spaghetti every summer and the girls have been begging to get some made. They have reminded me every week we need more. So here’s how I make it.
I do tend to lean more to the side of rebel canning often times and after doing research I make an educated decision about what and how I can at home.
If you aren’t comfortable with it, I get it and that’s totally fine.
If you are a beginner, do your research and learn as much as you can and learn where safety lines are and which ones can safely be used as guides.
We are a family 6 homesteading on just 1 acre here in West Central Arkansas.
We’ve had laying chickens and gardens since 2016, added meat rabbits in 2017 and it’s just been growing since then.
I hope you’ll join us on our journey and maybe we can learn from each other.

Well, that's awesome! Been wondering if regular noodles were going to be okay or was there a special type of noodle...but nope! Just good ole reg'lar skettie noodles! I'm pretty tickled over this and I think I'm gonna give my MawMaw's recipe a try. Thanks! ❤

I have been pondering doing this after seeing a ton of people doing it on some of the rebel canning FB groups I'm in. 14 is a great amount! How long have you shelved them with the noodles still being a decent firmness?

@@ErnieHatmaker my daughters eat it pretty quick when I’ve done it in the past. So they’ve only been able to sit on the shelf for 3 months or so before being gone. The noodles were still great then.

Could I do this in my pressure canner or would they turn to mush?

@@tjkatz5033 I’ve not done it in my pressure canner but others have said they do it. They do 15 minutes at the pressure for their elevation. Let me know if you try that and how the noodles turn out.
