Larry is like my neighbor, Bill who we adored for 35 years. Had every tool neatly cared for. He turned 96 this year and his son moved in and moved Bill into a nursing home. Love your wonderful neighbors while you have them. @@MyLittleSliceofParadise
My Dad passed in 2019 at 97 but he was just like Larry. He fixed and helped everyone in the neighborhood. Miss him now when I need help. We all need Larry

@@trishelliottfriases9873 I"m not sure, I"m still waiting to see how well they hold up here in Florida. I am going to try marine epoxy next, it probably works even better and costs about the same.

Beautiful! My mother and I see so much beautiful glassware when we visit thrift shops, but we don’t usually buy it because “we don’t need it.” 😂 I will definitely be looking at the glassware differently and maybe try to make some flowers like yours! Thanks for the great idea.

It reminds me of how my grandmother used to take ordinary things such as wooden thread spools and cones, etc., and morph them into something pretty. Larry’s granddaughters are so lucky!! I have a few pieces of my grandfather’s hand-made furniture and I cherish them so much ❤ Unfortunately Parkinson’s stopped him from getting to enjoy a retirement making things. Please tell Larry how lovely his work is!

You found some really pretty plates. When I made mine,I I couldn't find hockey pucks, so I used plastic elbow joints for my posts. They are very pretty.
I may try the pvc sometime! I bought the hockey pucks on Amazon : ) ♥

They turned out beautiful. Especially the blue one. That blue bowl was quite the find. I use the ones you put the stamens in too. I had a very large agate & used just that, no stamens. I think I need to make more now that I've seen yours. We are cleaning up the yard & planting right now.

Those are so very beautiful. I had collected so many plates and accessories to make those but I chickened out not ever seeing anyone use epoxy and didnt think the silicone would withstand . I gave all the items away and now I wish I hadnt. Darn! ❤

I love these flowers. I have a desolate front yard. This is a great idea for the glass wear I have marked for the yard sale. I will dig them out and start glueing away. I did see another video of this process. They used glass glue. Thanks for the inspiration.
