Oh shit i'm wearing the exact same slayer shirt right now.
Might be a little unorthodox, but for really aggressive, tremolo picked rhythms, or triplets ala Cannibal Corpse and Iced Earth, I extend the last 3 fingers of my right hand, and my middle finger locks and sits right up against my index finger. Instinctively, this triggers my right hand to really attack the strings, yet I get articulation, for some reason.
Not sure if we want to do that, but it gets the desired effect.

lol my rhythms are better then that teachers and I've only been play for a few years I've been clocked at 290 bpm accurately too
