WHAT IS NATANDO?
After 7 years, Rasika Kothalawala Dancing school is proud to present our sensational dancing soiree. This flagship event of our Dancing school is due to be showcased on December 17th Saturday 2022 at Lionel Wendt Art Centre 3.07PM and 6.23PM respectively. With student population of over 200, all our dancers will be on stage for two houseful, 90 minute shows at the state-of- the-art, Lionel Wendt Art Centre having a seating capacity over 600 per show. Natando was envisioned by Mr. Rasika Kothalawala and his beloved wife Mrs. Nisha Kothalawala, where rhythm, beauty, and elegance within intricately choreographed dance items, have been incorporated into a Traditional Based Creative Dance related to Sri Lanka, multi-ethnic, multireligious and multi-lingual national culture. Natando’s success will not be possible without the support received from parents, well wishes and generous sponsors who always come forward to support this important national cultural event. With all these strengths at hand, we are excited to put together Natando for the year 2022 and present you a journey of spell binding cultural dance performances.
