Thank you for watching Andertons TV and please subscribe for more just like this! - Hudba
I've always preferred J basses to P basses but that P bass wIth the white finish and mint green pickguard is gorgeous!!
been subscribed for 2 years and still love the channel
The most entertaining duo on the Tube by far! And the Pbass groove at the end of the vid is dope! Lee's rap too!
I love how you guys have so much fun with all about the bass. Plus I'm a bass player so obviously this is my favorite show on your channel
Cannon Hall y
Cannon Hall Probably a very happy bass player knowing that there is a show on CZcams where bass players don't get bashed :p
David van Scheppingen you're so right
Pete should be the official Andertons mascot. He can just dance around outside, and the profits will soar!
at the beginning: I'm in that weird part of the Internet again
I would like to see an episode in which Nate puts together a small pedal board for use in these demos. to see what he picks and why. whatever you do, keep the bass vids coming. have a jolly holiday!
White P-Bass looks fantastic. Draws more attention to the RW fingerboard too. Beautiful.
I saw this video very early in the morning. I thought I was having a bad acid trip when I say Lee rapping
that jam at the beginning sounds sickkk
Great video! I'd love to see you guys review flea's signature jazz bass
That first jam was incredible
Big like for Nathan squeezing in The Police's 'When the World is Running Down' as the first P-Bass Jam!
I have an American pro J bass and it's awesome!
can't wait:) picking up my new professional series left hand maple neck sonic grey fender jazz bass beginning of april😃
Thumbs up for playing Peaches.
ayyyyyy Nathan playing that Pino line. wherever I lay my hat.
I am curious about the change in neck profile, as I prefer a beefier neck and the AM Std P bass I picked up a few months ago has a flatter feel to it than my '73 P (B neck), which I prefer. other than that, this is typical Fender re-branding of the same instruments they've been selling for 50+ years.
MC Cap10 in da houz!
intro of the year!
Of course he plays a Pino Palladino line when he picks up the fretless... Cracks me up.
nice review guy's
I really enjoyed the bass rhythm. Is it was invented, or is it from a former artist? I really would like the notes of the bass rhythm. Thanks😁
Have you guys experimented with different strings on the Professional Jazz Bass?
Peaches at 12:00, I love it!
I own a 2014 Am Std P bass and I really hate the modern neck profile. Too flat and thin. I own a '73 P too but with a B neck and I love the chunkier profile. Would these Am Pro P basses be more to my liking? I'm a lefty, so there's really no chance of trying one first.
Hey, is that Nathan, Mark Kings (Level 42) brother?
Love to see the The captain , Sean and ..........Mark , his brother in a video , what do you think ???????
Feckin beastly TONE!!! 🤯🤯🤯
Loved the video but why didn't you show the 5 string?
great this means American Standards will be cheaper.
Of course not, because now they are discontinued.
Samuel Tk there's still going to be a ton of American Standards out there in stock in shops so you know what I mean
No, i bought my fender 2012 am jazz bass v few days ago and they had plenty of those 2012 basses in the shop
Yeah, but the 2012 onwards ones sound terrible. 2008 model was soo much better!
I got an American Standard that was reduced in anticipation of these coming out :D
1. get fender basses
2. add some minor upgrades
3. call it a completely new series of basses
4. Profit!
I'm a die hard Fender player, but stuff like this is just another way for Fender to try to get people to buy what are essentially the same products over and over again. I get it. It's a business, but they won't be getting any of my money for these "new" "professional" series instruments.
If not these basses what models would you recommend?
@@Orange_Jewlius the old standard series is as good as these new professional basses
How much does the p bass weigh ? I'm looking for something heavy
I have that exact hoodie.
Bit gutted to be honest I was hoping I'd be able to get the Captains album for xmas :(
Can't wait for my sonic grey maple neck left hand fender jazz bass to arrive beginning of april🎂🙈🙉
so much fun in the beginng ))))
When are you going to review the fender mustang bass?
Soon.
I'll adopt DANISH PETE PLEASE
What's it meant when the Captain or in this case, Nathan, what to they mean when they talk about a "Rolled Fingerboard". Not just for basses but usually guitars. Anyone?
That's interesting, I thought they usually were all done like that but understand the difference. Thank you for the information.
Peach please. Now that's one epic riff.
Danish Pete.
Innuendo Master.
Danish Pete has the best job ever haha
12:00 walkin on the beaches lookin at the peaches!!!
Great Bass Series from USA Fender, I live mine! Did someone drop acid, or was that the janitor in a cow suit? Lmao
What about the Fender Mustang short scale bass?
Soon.
Andertons Music Co Can't wait :)
You kinda have too :)
Andertons Music Co Stop me if you can!
Please, please, somebody, anybody, at Anderton's introduce the synth box to a large, blunt object being propelled at great velocity, and with great force... repeatedly.
Love the P bass! I've had mine (a shockingly beautiful '68) for 20 years and love it more with every passing year, like my wife and kids (and. I get a lot less crap from the bass than any of them!).
I've rebuilt every bass I've ever owned, many quite extensively, but never done more than a set up or repair on my P bass, and aside from considering dropping a Geezer Butler signature pickup, don't think I evee would.
But seriously guys, make the synth go away.
"treble cut" aka low pass filter...as it were
on the fret less it's called classical vibrato
jag and jazzz plsss :)
jeez that sucks I just finally bought my first Am. Std P-Bass in 2016 after playing bass for 25 years...
how much did tesco pay you
Is the bass he's playing passive or active
Fender basses are mostly passive.
Fucking Nathan...👍
Finally, basses! #funkintheUK
Hi Chris. We have ben doing bass videos for a while now. But if you feel like it, check out the All About The Bass playlist...
This or Sandberg VS4 ?
jyexe525 both
"Thanks, maaan." - lol
The pbass is light af.
Precision 9:35
Seriously, the moose at the end gets the better tone out this instrument
Hahahah the into is awesome
is it just me or are the pickups alnico 2...... i may be talking bullshit but i got a hint of alnico 2 magnet there
Ernesto Lone Wolf they are mixed if I'm not mistaken. Half alnico 2, half alnico 5.
redielg i called it!!!
i think all the Vmod pick-ups have the same construction on the american professional line.
I just use rounds on my fretless jazz
Lil'bassist254 careful, that can bore tunnels in your fretboard and ruin it
Its synthetic ebony so its no problem
Someone should tell Pete that only female reindeer have antlers... Says so much I guess...
That... is... wrong? haha
Sorry, slightly wrong in my post. Females also grow them so both male and females can have them..
I only know that because my partner and I recently watched a documentary called Wild North which was sick as fuck and now I have to move to Norway.
I've never owned a bad Mexi Fender
I got a mushroomhead vibe from the opening song for some reason
seth kegler lol that eerie synth
Whatever you're paying that reindeer, it ain't enough.
P rules, but...there is nothing quite like a fretless J...
Pete, can I rent you?
+René J Simonpietri We are sure you can... Wedding? Birthday party?
interracial bukkake actually
Now if they only made their fivers with a 1.75 nut, like the Dimension.
First!
Bacon!
Television, the drug of the Nation
Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation.
Walking on the beaches looking at the peaches
All at once there's someone there
Oh shit.
All on one video, must be a result. (2002 US P Bass owner).
second
i dont know why theyre always mucking about and being difficult with the colors. is it too much to ask for standard black, red, blue....you know...ACTUAL COLORS people would like to buy (meanwhile the mexican and squire crap gets all the colors of the rainbow)
As a bass player of nearly 30 years, I am saddened that Fender did away with the American Standard series name. That was by all accounts the true Fender bass (whether P-Bass or Jazz), and to me IS the crown jewel of Fender basses. When companies make moves like this, it says more about getting away from tradition, and listening to the wrong people. I don't think Leo Fender would have approved such a move. To some it is merely a name. But you take ANY bass player like Steve Harris, or Geddy Lee who are renowned for playing the America Standard editions (Steve on P Bass and Geddy on Jazz) you can see why this is a bad move for the company.
Saying Professional sounds like any model beneath that is a cheap piece of crap. I've never heard ANY guitar maker use the term professional in their lines. If they have it didn't last, or they are one offs. American Standard basses are the creme of the crop. They fell better, there's more punch in the mids, and it just felt right. You knew you were getting a damn good base at the American Standard level. You knew the quality was there, and you knew the sound would too. While they were ALWAYS more expensive than the Squires, or the low grade Mexican or Japanese versions (of which I owned), it was worth it.
Think if Gibson dropped the name Les Paul and said Gibson Professional was the new name? How stupid would that be? This is by far one of the stupidest moves Fender has ever made, and frankly it has put me off from ever buying any of their 2017 and beyond models. I will stick to the classics from now on.
you guys are knobs .......but cool
fuck that amp 😂😂😂😂😂
and on the 8th day god said: "white British men shall never try rap"
