I already felt this episode was gonna be more slowed down because I could feel that from the preview & last weeks episode apparently has a lot of stuff cut according to the director. Also was fine with down bits because it continues what was hinted at in the VS Legend specials about Kaguyas "Moth to a flame" mentality Butler talked about which I figured meant Kaguya worked alone akin to some Showa riders in order for fewer casualties in a crossfire. So Houtarou is the first person, besides Butler, to kinda see him as just Kaguya. In a sense Houtarou was able to see past Kaguyas "mental walls" that he put on himself since his Grandfathers death. So for me it didn't feel forced, to explained more from the few backstory we got from VS Legend.
Ahhh icic. But I mean, it might have been better as a movie imo than what it is now nya
So basically; this episode's strong points are the battle scenes (and even then you can't help but laugh at how hard it must be to move/fight in the Legendary Legend suit)
I have no idea what goes on in-between (though I'm still looking forward to it when subs come out), only searched for the fights but I'm pleased with what I saw. Gorgeous Genius was unfortunate, wish they showed off some Fullbottle powers but at least we get to see Hopper1 shine gorgeously. I actually like how Gorgeous Complete selects a Rider to summon, and it was fun to see Kaguya being capable of skipping Legendary Legend if he wanted to. (Still waiting for that Gorgeous W → Zi-O fight scene though)
And they sure know how to hook us in with that next episode's preview. Surprised to see Legendary Legend has some more tricks up his sleeve. Hopefully we see one more Legend Rider transformation besides Zero-One & Zi-O (speaking off, I giggled at seeing that the golden V-chest piece isn't technically blocking Kaguya from touching the Kiva, Decade & Build statues on Grand Zi-O's suit).
Is Ark-One being used really an Outsiders advertisement? I always saw it as fridge brilliance since Ark represents humanity's malice and Chemy's are noted to be forcibly fused to whatever the closest source of human malice that's near them.
Definitely the fights were good, but kinda left more to be desired in a way. Especially with how great the previous episode was nya.
As for Ark, it's kinda like conveniently bringing back Ark when Ark is having another Arc in the Outsiders episode releasing this week nya. Plus they did conveniently insert a Zein as well nya.
After seeing the episode , I finally can say this .... The Hundred been using Legend Rider Card 🗿
Like no way is this an outsider thing as Zein also call them "fraud" and as a person who had seen all the dark riders perfomance so far , its clearly weaker compare to their prime , and this also explain the sudden appearance of their driver as I would assume the card behave similarly to ride watch , if a non-Zi-O rider uses it , the belt came out instead but clearly weaker and since Ark is already dealt with in Outsider , it's just a inferior Ark AI. Besides the Hundred the legend final form of decade also shown weaker when using its finisher.
As for the story itself , it finally introduced what kind of character kaguya is , as he does not know how to bond relationship with others , it as seem as forced but that just shows how akward the character is actually , not knowing the concept of "friend" and all ( take it like the ice princess trope in anime but inside they're introverted )
Overall , although slowed down , it is a good episode trying to explain Kaguya , a one-time time character in a spin-off as an actual character instead of this perfection of a human being that will prevail all evil without fail by putting some weakness in his character ( also , is it just me or this episode give me Zukyumpire vibe?)
It is giving Zukyunpire vibes lol nya. But at the same time, I kinda preferred Zukyunpire XD
as a massive kr fan, gotchard seriously feels like a step down to me from last season and Geats was only a decent season. Might be cause I'm spoiled since i joined the kr world right after decade and double was my first real series.
But my god it feels like they are throwing everything at the wall and hoping it sticks. Zein, lenged and hundred just shouldn't have been here. Also Rinne and Spanner they are getting mega sideline and Rinne is suppose to be our secondary rider.
Tbh, I would have preferred a Legend Movie. Might have been better nya. Or who knows, summer movie might involved Legend.
Also yeah, Gotchard is a step down from Geats for sure nya. Premise definitely is one, but I think poor starting choices is a huge factor nya

its so word to me Ghost when he first appeared was so cool and then in his own show was so bad
Same with Gothard in the geats movie he was pretty cool, but goofy but was using the whole alchemy gimmick well. Would of like it if that was used more

It's official, I don't like Kaguya. His manner of speaking annoys me to no end. Him referring to himself in the first person and having to inject the word gorgeous in every sentence is incredibly annoying to me, not to mention how arrogant and stuck up he is. He is a massive step down from Tsukasa. It was nice seeing Ark again but at the same time kinda...meh. Still more Legend next episode, god I just want this arc to END
I would take 100 Houou Kaguya Quartzes over another Igasaki Takaharu.
@@HenshinFanatic I don't watch the Sentai so no idea what that character is all about. I simply don't like pretentious pricks that are borderline Chūnibyō just for the sake of it
