This woman blew me away. As a young white kid my first experience in a black home was at my best friends house and his mom was a lot like this lady. Honest, strong, fantastic cook but holy crap did you want to avoid pissing her off. I made sure all our toys were cleaned up and vegetables were eaten and homework was done cause if not you would get the lecture of a life time. But she was a very loving and wonderful lady. Very similar personality. She knew how to make any stranger feel welcomed and loved without sacrificing her strength and authority as a mother.

this is similar to my childhood experience with black moms - it's one of the reasons I have always said we need black women running the country. It sounds like such a stereotype, but there's a strength and kindness that seems unique to black women.

L.A. Roberts yes she is and she keeps this same energy through the WHOLE THING 😂 I had to pause it several times because I was laughing so hard. There are moments that are very deep and sad too, it’s great.

She is my personal hero. I have bipolar disorder and had shame and guilt upon my diagnosis. She has helped me slough the bad stigma that I, myself was perpetuating. Her transparency with her personal experience has given me a mentor I so needed.

Before I remembered her name, I described her in convo as the black lady who always plays a mother role for true. Haha. Trevor is very attractive, it is not just the dimple smile or bright eyes but also his smart mouth. He is one of those guys who intellectually stimulates. That in itself is sexy!

My mother is a diagnosed bipolar and so is my biological aunt. I don’t know if I have it or just have learned behavioral patterns from them. I don’t struggle with drugs or mental health because I have chose to live a mundane life with very little stimulation. I think it is beautiful to be boisterous, and that is one trait I see in Mrs Lewis and in myself. She is an instant hero in my eyes. I never had a dream to keep me from being a coke head, but I sure knew, like Jenny here, that was not going to be how I treated my body- my temple. -Love From Colorado
