I've noticed that recent tv series that are around 8 episodes in length can usually be viewed via Ep 1>Ep 2>Final episode.

Gangs of London is the best show I’ve watched in a while, yeah better than Warrior for me at least. Gangs is dark and gritty, photography is Superb,the choreography is absolutely brutal and even unpredictable the ambiance really has a sense of tension every episode and the characters are likable… Warrior, ugh I want to like it but the time period and themes just bore me I’ve heard it all too much. I found Gangs absorbing.
I think first season was was great i was quite dissapointed with season 2

Ted lasso give moral lessons, i don't watch series for that even if i feel agree with these point of view for the most part. So i didn't like Season 3 but sometimes it was very funny .
Tulsa king was nice but a bit overrated due to the fact it is starring Stallone imho.

I feel like there are too many comedy shows at the moment and I really miss a dark and brooding drama show. Any recommendations? Setting doesn't matter; modern, historical, fantasy, etc

Kingdom, the Korean show is pretty fantastic! It is a zombie outbreak in the 16. century Korea, but it isn't ur average zombie flick, very smart and complex story, with complex characters, palace politics, conspiracies, and philosophy, it is dark and ruthless but also has heart and humor. They may continue it but the 3 seasons are a complete story arc

Ted Lasso was really poor the writing was woeful bad compared to the previous seasons. Disappointing all round.
Agreed. The first season was great and wholesome. The last season was trying so hard to recreate the initial feeling and ended up with over the top characters. I enjoyed it at times anyway, but not nearly as good as the first season.

His dark materials on HBO Max Is really good. If you like the ultimate sci fi Is that is the show to watch.

Long, silly dialogues between the siblings - I fast forwarded through much of them because they just became too hard to stomach.
I don't like succession, I watched a few episodes I couldn't more. They don't look trash, the way they talk, might as well be trash, is like watching a trashy sipcom, the way they dress or where they live don't impress me. Trash with money , where did I heard that?
The episodes that I enjoyed the most was the one with the part when the older brother is talking in his unusual vulgar manner to a possible associate. which kept quiet while the other talked Then he said "maybe you want to speak with somebody else, I don't like to speak with anybody that insults me while talking" Like some people in Congress, people tell her, "It's over. Now you better behave"
you aren't supposed to identify with the "heroes", it is a vivisection of a diseased/corrupt family and through them our corrupt world. deeply flawed and fragile ppl making bonkers decisions that affect everybody without any accountability... it is a horror show, really

Just about all TV and movies are on hold now, due to the strike.
Seems more TV series start declining after Season 3. The top 1 on this lis, Warrior was great the first 2 seasons... season 3 was very slow and lacked the action and story telling from the first two seasons. It started to get good by the last two episodes and then it ended on the idiotic cliffhanger... where if they were to cancel the series it would be another one that joins the ranks of the so many that never gets resolved.
The second season of Gangs of London is so disappointing.
Warrior is the greatest show of all time.
