I like Red's talk about PR, it can put a positive spin on things that you screwed up, broke, or used for other purposes than what it was designed for.

Even as a Ford fan, I just hope that the damage done to the Camaro was reversible.
Compared to all other vehicles I've seen on the show they treated this Camaro very..."gentle". :)

Pretty sure that was one of the staff's cars, and that toilet wasn't porcelain. Also, judging by the ugly rusty hole in the firewall, that wasn't a creampuff show car either.

I wanna know whether it cost more to obtain them (and all their other props) or to dispose of them.
@@TAPriceCTR In most places you can call a salvage yard to pick up a junk car from your property and they will PAY YOU for it. Not much, few hundred tops. It's based on the car's scrap value. You get like 5% usually. Point is, if you have a ton of junk cars, say an old relative died and left you a rural house, you can get cash for the disposal of them.
They got the cars for free thanks to donation, the real costs were likely the towing expenses.
At possibly 200 cars used throughout(cars were reused in a lot of segments), at $50 a tow over 300 episodes...so that’s in the range of $15,000 over the course of the series

Intellectual role reversal.
I’ve watched these shows for years. What has begun to happen is many of the‘projects’ make sense to me and seem nearly brilliant. This concerns me #1 as a woman my survival instinct is continually triggered, #2 why do I want to file these ideas in case of social collapse and #3 trying to avoid buying an old truck to make rounds on trash day to increase junk inventory. I hope there is a support group.

I had a slot car set once. No let me rephrase that I wanted a slot car set called Zero Gravity Cliff Hangers
I remember wanting expandable electric slot car and train sets. Then wanting race simulation games.
I had a motocross slot "car" set when I was a kid. There was a jump halfway through the course but when you stuck the landing, the bikes would stop and you had to jiggle them a little before they'd work again
This is the one show where i like the characters more in the newer episodes than the old ones. Wasnt a fan of the first few seasons until they turned him into a goofy guy instead hiw dry he was at the beginning.

Can a 🚽 really work as a carburetor?
Negative.
The intake manifold wouldn't be able to output the level of fuel/air mixture that the toilet could provide, not without flooding the cylinders and/or the sootiest exhaust you've ever seen. Plus, that big bulky thing on your hood would screw with your acceleration if you used it on a rear-wheel drive vehicle and add lots of drag. Not really workable, but funny to look at.
Great idea if you want to be hilarious at a car show where nobody else is.
