The guy that owns this bike has great taste - that zx6r has JUST the right amount of carbon accents - without overdoing it. The Austin racing steals the show though - looks gorgeous w/ this bike. I have a 2023 KRT just because I couldn't get my hands on one of these black diablo color schemes. :(

Ceramic bearings are worth their weight in gold something he didn’t mention is with the ceramics you are supposed to be able to take the seals off clean them out and degrease them and supposed to have much much longer life then normal bearings have them on a gen 1 busa and love them
Chris, since you asked, I feel that "pops" and "bangs" makes the bike seem like it is not tuned correctly. But to each their own. I like a clean, smooth deceleration on a bike. That being said, I am always learning from you. This "marble" block in the hose you discuss, I suspect this is the same as removing and blocking the PAIR Valves without having to remove and block the actual PAIR valve. Cool beans. The only thing you could add for others is the size of the marble before they accidentally drop it into the tube. Lol

I mean you practically can, it only pops and burbles if you give a lil gas on deceleration, if you just let it decelerate without giving that tiny bit of throttle it won’t do it
Wow - that bike is insane - a lot of bucks went into it and it's worthy! Reminds me of a few years back, a buddy spent at least double the price of his new 6R, trying to keep up with my GSXR1000... his bike looked great too, in my mirrors...Actually, I would love to have this bike as it's looking right! Sounds more than OK too...

I done something kind of unique with my 23 year old ZX9r's KLEEN air (PAIRS) system. I removed the vacuum pump and silencer, removed it from the airbox, together with the crankcase breather hose.
I then joined the two together, with a small K&N filter on the end using a four way pipe connector and a longer bit of tubing for the crankcase breather, and blocked the holes on the airbox with Sugru.
The engine now has options as the exhaust can still get air through the reed valves, and the crankcase breather can still vent no problem either through the reed valves or just the air filter.
It sounds awesome, and I'm getting more, and only clean air into the combustion chambers.

i love my 2023 zx6r same colors but pretty stock. i love the back firing, my last ninja had that tune an i kinda miss it with the loud short pipe. either way i love riding

I tested a flashed fz09 that I was going to buy with a full Toce exhaust, and I was moving down from a stock KTM SuperDuke 1290 R. The thing popped, banged, and screamed. I couldn't help but giggle and laugh out loud the entire time. I loved it so much.

@Nick-ds5gy it was some guy in Clearwater, Florida. I didn't get the bike, sadly. We set a time for me to come pick it and the title up 36 hours later, and 30hrs later I said I'd be leaving soon and they said "Nope sold it." Then it was relisted two weeks later under the same person's fb. Really disappointing, but now I know I want an FZ09
Great bike and informative video also. I think both tunes were great but I kinda like the second tune a little better. Quick question tho, I also have extra ecu from misdiagnosis of my bike in the past so does that part# information you gave also apply to an 06 model year?

When your young,all the pops n bangs n flames gets the" omg" and the ooooo's and awwwww's from your buddys n such but when your older,not so much...I got the block offs on my zx10 and when i want a lil gurgleing n such i hold the throttle open a hair..Glad i bought my own woolich kit...
The thing i miss about my ZX6 was that insane roar from ghe engine. I mean riding along the beach people would stop to appreciate the RRRRRrrrrrr. Loved my zx6. Likely get the 2024
From what i know they have new crankshafts i think but what i really know is that they're powerful on the top end and it seems it can go up to 15k rpm cz of the euro 5 emissions unlike 19-23 can go to 16k

As far as the question regarding pops and bangs tune, not only is it pretty annoying but it can also have extremely detrimental effects not only on the engine but on the powerband and fuel mileage as well. You're dumping a lot more fuel in unnecessarily and sending your egt's through the roof. Not to mention the damage you're doing to youre likely doing to your valvetrain and rings. I get wanting to look and sound cool but it achieves neither of those and leaves a lot of power on the table rather than optimizing air/fuel to be leaner in a safe range with proper timing.
My '21 ZX636 makes 148hp with VP MR12. I'm running Woolich racing and the engine is overbored to 674cc. It is uneatable in the straight but not as nimble as an R6 in the turns. Also, while the price of the bike is cheaper, once you add all the upgrades to have the same features as a fly-by-wire bike it ends up costing you more.

I disabled air injection on everything I ever rode. All the way back to my old KZ and the hose was 3/16 or 5/16 vacuum line and i used a steel BB
The onlybthing it helped with was tuning with an EGA. Didn't change horsepower like you said. I just don't like the lean misfire/after burn popping.
Would definitely rather have pops and bangs. My bike does it now but not nearly as much as that bike. My bike also doesnt spit flames. Keeping in mind ive only got a PCV with a map for my full yoshi exhaust. Im highly contemplating having yall flash my ecu and get rid of the PCV

Great mods and tune, but just out of curiosity why is there still a drop in the curve after the top figures (I guess around 14.5 - 15k rpm)? Is that how the mapping supposed to be or is it sort of a safe measure from an engineer point of view to safe guard the engine from the redline perils?

I get a few pops on my 2021 zx6r and as far as I know it has a factory ecu. Bought it as a Kawasaki demo with 3777 miles on it.

Probably. Kawisaki zx6r might not have the modes. Like the gsxrs

Yes you can. The power modes can be re-programmed to different fuel maps. Had it done on my 13' so I'm assuming it's still the same.

The pops and bangs on decal is absolutely savage. I’d rock it if you could control the intensity by the throttle and it didn’t do it on its own every single time. It sorta looked like you were feeding it the tiniest bit of throttle to make it pop and bang more?

Do they ship to states? I went on there looking for the loudest 1 (I think it's the GPR1?) But anyways everything is in euro and I converted it but I figured the site would do that seeing how every other site does
@@ZxShowoff yes, I live in GA. It's kind of weird that the site doesn't convert, but once you buy it, the emailed receipt will show the total in US dollars. And yes, the GPR1 is INSANELY loud without the DB killers. I've set a few car alarms off!

I was thinking same thing, maybe the feature that has to be turned on and off for pops and bangs adjusts all modes at the same time. Either way it's a bit weird going to such lengths to get 2 emu's and 2 tunes and all that.

Anyone know where the owner bought the carbon dash trim? I've found all the other parts. But I cant seem to find the dash trim in carbon. eBay has that trim section but its not real carbon.
