Christians must develop critical thinking, not a critical spirit.
Jesus promised that His followers would be falsely accused. (Mat 5v11-12; Gen 39v11-15; 1 Kngs 21; Jer 5v12; Ezra 4v4-7; Neh 6v1-14, Luke 7v33)
Satan is the accuser of the brethren, but Jesus declares God’s name to His brethren (Heb 2v12; Rev 12v10)
The body of Christ is prone to an autoimmune disease. (Rom 14v19; 1 Cor 1v10; Eph 4v2-3; Phil 2v2-3)
Two extremes: demonizing men of God and idolizing men of God
Drop the stone and pick up a mirror.
According to OT, the characteristic of the false prophet is
1. Speak for God when unappointed (Deut 18v20-23)
2. Leading people to serve other gods (Deut 13)
According to Jesus, false prophets are recognized by their fruit (Mt 7:15-20)
According to Peter, false teachers are those who:
1. Deny Christ (2 Pet 2v1)
2. Exploit believers for personal gain (2 Pet 2v3)
3. Abuse Christian freedom, neglect duty (2 Pet 2v10, 19)
Pay attention to what you give attention to. (Mark 4v24)

Failing to distance yourself from TB Joshua’s ministry that was operating in sorcery and allegations of gross immorality is more than just “noise”. Especially when Hungry Generation is so intertwined with SCOAN. I used to be a supporter of TB Joshua before carefully examining him. I can see God bringing separation right now. Those operating in the Spirit of God vs Spirit of Baal. A little leaven of witchcraft levens the whole dough.

This is why I have always respected this ministry!! Very slow to speak, quick to listen and slow to become angry!!
Something we need to learn… I remember, few weeks ago, when the “heat” was all over social media, I commented hoping to hear Vlad’s perspective concerning his stance (I believe my comment is still there😭).
Many social media influencers immediately came to dash out their perspectives (some with no sense of discernment) but Vlad continued the 21 days fasting challenge like there was nothing happening around him.
I am not saying this to make the ministry feel good (besides I bet Vlad even got time for that) but his character spoke the loudest sermon I have ever heard from him over the past 3years.
As a young man who loves Jesus, that is something I would carry for a life time. God bless this ministry!!

In an article from US-based Charisma Magazine in 2002 about the controversies surrounding Joshua’s ministry, Peter Vandenberg, then executive vice president of Christ for All Nations (CFAN), explained Bonnke’s rationale for ‘keeping a distance’ from the Nigerian cleric. “We held a meeting organised by 2000 local pastors and every one of them said that Joshua does things that are occultic and that what he is doing is not doctrinally correct… We stand with the majority of Christians there who have denounced him. Our brothers in Nigeria are on the ground there, and they know best.”

How do U know for sure that they wrre wonderful. What a magnificent rebuttal to busybodies! I believe that Pastor Vlad is an annoited man of God, he adheres to the Word, and preaches with reason and soundness. Those who uplift God and lead others to Him, need not be on the defensive. " By their fruits ye shall know them." Pastor Vlad has a powerful blessing! Oftentimes accusers accuse because they are projecting their own unresolved insecurities and issues unto others. Pastor Vlad is transparent, and straightforward, the same cannot be said of those who only point fingers, instead of glorifying God.

You are right about this principle. However, I do believe the victims. I did think TB Joshua was for real prior to the testimonies. It matters if a leader is actually abusive or potentially privately practicing witchcraft and staging miracles. Did TB J start out good and later turned? Who knows. But I do believe the victims and their many, many testimonies.
We need to understand and differentiate ATTACK vs EXPOSURE. TBJ’s wicked deeds were exposed to the world via BBC. Those victims that testified are guilty of libel and made a fool of themselves if their stories were fabricated. But who in their right mind would go through the trouble to accuse a dead man?

There were testimonies of Jesus being a drunkard , a deceiver, blasphemy & demon possessed, he was accused by the Pharisees who were the head of the church. Can we then say that their testimony was correct ? Even though it led Jesus to be crucified ?

What I think is, everyone to mind their business with God, not with the pastor/apostles etc. If you actually have a Personal relationship with Holy Spirit He will lead you, and give you a manna from specific teacher in time you need it. Holy Spirit will never let you be lied because He is the spirit of Truth. People make mistake to worship the teachers/pastors/prophets instead of the one who sent them(God). We love and respect them, not worshiping them. Which is ground for abuse and being in a cult.

I’m just the type of person who doesn’t like unresolved questions, or something I don’t understand. I hope you won’t get offended at my question and this is truly not my intention, just curiosity:
Did all those rape victims (TB’s disciples) were all lying on BBC because of the money they received for lying?
If yes, how can you explain the fact that they all spent YEARS being TB’s disciples, they were in a good spiritual environment, they were all seeking God and trying to serve God, but now they just suddenly became lying money-lovers? After being discipled by a good man of God? After spending that much time with him? After being devoted Christians? They started lying for some extra cash?
So either they were always non Christian liars, or - they aren’t lying about TB Joshua. Do you agree? If they were never Christians, why they spent all those YEARS with TB? Why they chose to waste their life pretending to be Christian? I mean nobody sacrifices their lives to go to Nigeria to serve God for YEARS and then just suddenly decides to lie for BBC.

It is possible, that this people are framing him, Prophet TbJ was not an ordinary man, and he fought the kingdom of darkness, Satan & his cohorts to another level and three years after his death they are still reeling from the effects of this.Because some of us who learnt a lot from his Ministry are causing havoc to the kingdom of darkness and we now have fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ in another dimension and we are not just in a theoretical relationship with the Lord. There are millions out there who got saved because of his Ministry. I love this kind of character. Once, I was in a New Zealand Church. My silent thought of a pastor who spent more time talking on his bus was broken than the scriptures. GOD Shouted at me instantly, and he convicted me. I was scared of him, but later on, I realised that The Holy Spirit loves me so much to correct even my thoughts. And I wonder how those people make videos daily to tear down people's ministries. Don't they have a HOLY FEAR OF GOD?

You don’t have to attack a fellow minister, but you can correct them.

Thank you, Vlad. I was disappointed when other believers were hardcore pressuring you to respond to the drama and in a way that agrees with them. When I first heard about the drama, I got depressed and discouraged and actually cried a bit because of the resulting division. My “gut response” was that and not getting angry and accusatory.

The churches I attended I saw often division between pastors and elders and between pastors in the same city. My reaction was praying and fasting for unity in Christ.
And God heard my prayers and unity came back.
When I hear of a man of God falling in sin I feel grieved because the name of God is hurt. And I think why did we not more pray for this man .
We must pray more for our leaders because they are the first to be attacked by satan.
If the fall a lot of people fall with them.
I hope you are right on your judgement about Tb Joshua.I met Tb Joshua many times. I now have heavenly encounters most of the time because of his teachings, I find myself going to Heaven , the Lord Jesus Christ teaching me many mysteries in the spirit. And I know I am not the only one , but millions all over the world who are having this grace because of prophet Tbj’s unique, extraordinary & Holy Spirit teachings. I hope you can see things in the spirit rather relying on some so called numerous witnesses on a BBC documentary. Iam one of his fruits and I am forever grateful to the God & father of our Lord Jesus Christ who gave us the grace to meet his servant whom he sent into this world in our generation.

There’s a difference between sinning and preaching non-biblical truths, or even praising things the Bible is against. That is a big problem with a lot of preachers today. Don’t confuse the two people! Satan can quote scriptures, Satan knows and reads the Bible too.

Good stuff Pastor Vlad. Yes, we should never speak against men or women of God. Pray for them that the Lord Jesus will restore them back to Him. Men and women of God need prayer NOT murmuring and back biting. Remember that God does not like it when you talk about the men and women He has raised up. They are humans and need prayer. Just Remember Korah in Numbers 16 when you get the urge to speak against a man of God.

I am one of the people who had the grace to meet Prophet Tb Joshua many times & I do not regret it at all because he was used by God for me to draw closer to the Lord Jesus Christ. I will not deny him at the wake of some BBC documentary because I am one of his fruits and what a changed person I am. I know I am not the only one who had this experience with him but they are millions out there & our faith will not fail.
