Hi, I stumbled upon your project on IG and I think it's fantastic! For 2024, I plan on wrapping up my TBR (around 50 books?) and doing this. Never let anyone tell you that you have too many books!! You are the only person who can decide when to weed your library!
Honestly 305 doesn’t even seem like that big of a number. I started following because I love this concept and the journey. According to my audible account, I have 325 unstarted audible books. I’ve got 85 audiobooks checked out from the library. I have no clue what my unread physical book number is. Been buying books for 15+ years. Some I don’t know if I’ll ever get to them. I view collecting books as it’s own hobby. Do what makes you happy and leave the haters behind.
Just bought 18 books on book outlet 😬😬 so I probably have 25-30 in my physical TBR (I use the library most of the time). I’m going to wrap my books and do this!!
I loved watching this! I'm thinking of wrapping mine too, I own a little less than 300, unsure of how many I've read. Definitely inspired by you to actually read my current physical tbr! I'm scared to commit though!
I would be afraid to put a number on how many books are in my physical TBR 😂 I keep an Amazon list of all of the books people recommend that I’m interested in and it’s at 125+. Whoops.
Woahh cant believe people are commenting on how many unread books you have?! They really arent on bookstagram/booktok LOL i have 150 unread books and it really just happens overnight 😭🤣

I wrapped a selection of books this way to prevent damage when moving. I found myself more motivated to read them than unwrapped books.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets overwhelmed picking a book 🤣

It’s definitely a long term project!! It will take a long time to read them all wrapped or not
I have no issue with the amount of books you own... I have 1300+... I just want you to open it faster 😂 I'm wayyyy too impatient
I try! Lol to film myself doing it I have to sit really far away and lean forward so it’s just very difficult to do that without ripping the paper.
