    Your tutorials have helped me quite a bit learned how to do a 360, tried to do the jumps still struggling, bounce my head off the jump and it wasn't even that high 😂😂 I think it's still a fear factor and my mechanics once I hit the jump but overall I'll keep going at it Thanks brah..

    This year im looking at (re)improving my snowboarding! Back in the day I was pretty good, got the carving thing down and all, but i have probably ridden one week a year in the last 6 out of 10 seasons (im 47 and in Australia FYI;) and the last few times i felt my riding was getting worse. So this year Im doing a full 7 day week and I hope to get some of the ability back. I do realise that im a little less agile than before, so i wont be trying anything crazy... (I am actually looking forward to hitting your videos while im riding the chairlift) so at my age i guess its a good start to get into the pre season prep (leg strengthening, back/leg stretching) and when it comes to riding, making sure i stay safe and uninjured (damn i actually SOUND old too!).
    Anyway, this vid is awesome, thanks for all the advice!

    Dude you're awesome and I'm learning so much. Do you think you could cover late season boarding or how to handle large patches of ice. I hit a groomer run this weekend that iced over during the night, that was pure ice in the morning and didn't realize it - didn't know how to handle it, slipped and turtled backwards headfirst for about 1000 ft down the run. Was lucky to not get hurt beyond some road rash, but I'd prefer not to repeat that.

    the 360 in one day from piste to medium kickers sounds a bit too fantastic for me.. but some have luck and intuitition. Normally you step up from half flat spinned or butter 360 to low speed small kicker with many fails until you are mature enough for medium size... even 180 are mostly on learning plan before 360. sometimes crashes on the learning path are absolutely neccessary ... to build up muscle memory and teaching us how to get away with less impact.. plus some healthy modesty.
    The One Day Per Trick is mostly a pipe dream

    Do you have, or could you make a video about a beginner trying on an aggressive board? I`m a beginner and would like to get a board I can grow in to, and not grow out of. But I wonder how much I will struggle on a intermediate/pro board like f.eks Custom X. A video of an actual beginner trying a board like that would tell me more than a pro just telling me that a board like that is to hard.

    • @awiegwa
      @awiegwa Před 3 lety +1

      I learned on a Forum Devun Walsh 159MW man-camber board. That kind of board makes learning carves easy and riding on ice pretty easy...but you will occasionally slam hard and get hurt...so it's a toss up imo. Why not get something in the middle and easy for spring slush and ice like a coda rocker? (I own and ride that board too and it's really fun). Whatever you get put enough binding on it and get boots fitted to your foot. The boots will mater MORE than bindings or board! Ride Fuse is an excellent all around boot...if it fits your foot. Shift your focus and go boot shopping first. Also - just buy stuff in the spring and summer when it's cheaper and acquire your quiver over time that way. HTH

    Your Trivia question A Pyramid is 146.7 meters high Length 230.34 m and volume 2,563,283 cubic meters.... Let's go

    • @PaleCentaur
      @PaleCentaur Před 3 lety

      It more depends on the pyramid in question. The formula for the volume of a pyramid is (base)*(height)/3, but the height and the base can vary pretty significantly. For example, the Transamerica Pyramid Building in San Francisco is a lot taller relative to its base than the Egyptian pyramids, Aztec pyramids, and even the Luxor or Bass Pro pyramids.
