Thanks for a great video, Now I am old, I understand the comment that inside every pensioner is a teenager wondering what the heck happened. You and Carolan convey this well. Carolan knew that his time was up but this is whimsical rather than melancholy. A worthy end.

A genius piece. So satisfying to hear and sense an era...at its close? Or continuing into its eternal form, embracing the listener in chords so grace-filled, and in moments frolicking, freed from their tethers, playing as the brilliant autumn leaves that leap from the branches, celebrating an end to a glorious season, an end to a lifetime, but with little concern for what anyone may limitingly term "death," for in this leap, there is no such thing.
A beautiful tune played relatively straight (I have heard it played much more 'meaningfully' with hesitations and rhythmic distortions, but this very fine tune absolutely. does not need that). This is lovely. 🎶

So schön !!! Und wohltuend! Ich werde eine Harfe mieten, obwohl ich als Berufsmusikerin, Orgel und Klavier, von Harfe keine Ahnung habe. Aber das hätte ich früher lernen sollen, ich liebe dieses Instrument. Auch wenn ich es nur für einfache Melodien schaffe, ist egal.
