- This is a wonderfully detailed 62" wingspan B-17 that I traded a fellow member for. It handles like a B-17 should, making big wide banked turns. I love the sound of the 4 motors in harmony. Planes like this just make you appreciate what those WWII were flying in. A good day flying with friends.. makes you appreciate life!

Nice !!!
Cool maiden.
I have the 1875mm B-17 and with no flaps and about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle it makes decent scale take offs.
She has a large wing and 4 engines so it kinda flies like a trainer.
I never use take off flaps because it will climb like yours did, but I use full flaps and about half throttle and it settles in like a dream...
Hopefully that helps you a little.
Thanks so much!
Pretty cool, I keep putting the one at HK in my cart when its in stock. But havent pulled the trigger yet.
The HK one looks awesome, a bit bigger than this one I believe. They fly amazing
That's the XUAV B-17
That’s an old Freewing 1600mm B-17. Wish they’d bring that back as it’s an excellent flyer. I’d rather here the plane and field talk than music.
That's not the Freewing, that's a old XUAV B-17. The Freewing version has split flaps , this one does not
Thanks for the responses-!
Thanks for the info
What happened on the landing? Hard to tell.
I think I just got a little too slow and had a little too much elevator, and had a mini stall
