You should've been there then. There was something in the air when I arrived at 'Dega on Friday evening that thus wasn't going to be an ordinary Talladega race weekend. And it wasn't, it was absolutely fantastic
+2016 NASCAR Crashes & Finish's I wish I could've. Even the race at halfway was so intense, the threat of rain and how aggressive they were racing for the lead. I've only been to Texas, and Charlotte. Hopefully someday I can make it to Dega.

This was one of the craziest Talladega races ever!! 7 big wrecks 35 out of 40 cars involved in 7 big wrecks and Dale Earnhardt Jr's steering wheel pops off. No doubt that this was one of the most craziest and exciting races at Talladega glad all the drivers are okay and walked away.
I've been on season tickets since I was 8 and this was one of the best races I watched in years. the heart and risk everyone took, it was relentless. unforgettable

No Austin Dillon whooped their ass, involved in 3 wrecks, had 17 pit stops, and still raced his way 3rd (technically 2nd had they not thrown the yellow before the line)

Right before Danica joined that was the Rule Drivers HAD to race in the Nationwide Side then for 2-3 years at LEAST before moving to Sprint Side..But of Course Danica didn't have too because of Stewart and I love Tony but that again is BULLSHIT I don't stand behind anyone that is breaking the Rules and that is breaking the Rules they all bitch and moaned when the 48 cheated well what did do they call about getting Chase and Danica in that's not some kind of Cheating!!?? But of course it would be different if they were winning lmao
First off, there has never been a rule forcing a driver to run 2-3 years in the nationwide series. Second that so called rule wasnt changed for Danica, hell Joey Logano debuted in the Nationwide series in 2008 and also ran 3 cup races in that year then went full time in 2009 in cup. Chase ran a legit 2 full years in the xfinity series and won a championship, plus with Gordon retiring, of course Chase will get the call up. Honestly reading your comment, you dont understand anything about Nascar at all. Especially since you thought that there was a rule that clearly never was there, i dont know where you think you heard that but its wrong. There is no cheating by bringing up a driver from Xfinity. Hell in 2005 Clint bowyer ran 1 season of Nationwide series and the next year was up in cup series full time. So obviously you've no idea what you're talking about

The drivers just can't handle the 24's aggressive nature when wanting to stay up front. Several drivers were not to thrilled with him, but that their problem not Chase's.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but this was the first Talladega race I had watched and enjoyed in full for about two years. The crashes weren't even part of that, the racing was hardcore all the way through save for a brief 5 lap spit before the first caution.

I'm an SCCA racer, I had the SAME thing happen to me with the steering wheel. I managed to get the car turned with just the shaft and then slip the wheel on before the next corner. Scary....but funny afterwards.
